Lucant forget to Feat
I haven't been able to get many games in the last couple weeks. But in the games that I did get in, I decided to put a bit more focus on using my caster's feat. In my first game, I played against Circle, forgot just how awful Prime Axiom is with Axis. I seem to forget that Huge base models just can't activate except during your turn. So when I was ready to give my team speed and strength boosts, my axiom was no longer with me. The next game, I was more prepared. I chose Lucant this time around. Built a list with a bunch of heavies, a TEP, like 8 repair units, and 2 squads of Clockwork Angels to look pretty and clean up. I was feeling very confident with this list, borderline cocky, and I am actually looking forward to playing this list again, because I feel like it is the best list I have come up with to date. I will post it after I get in a couple more games with it. My strategy was to push forward onto my opponents objective, stalling them and contesting their control point, while I sat Lucant on my point. This went very well. Until an important turn came up in which I gave an initial push into Legion forces, softening them up a bit, I moved Lucant onto point, and promptly ended my turn without Feating. The 4 armor this would have given me the following turn would have saved two of my heavy vectors, allowing me to repair them and charge them back into the point. Also giving Lucant something else to do with his focus... My Opponent also rolled incredibly well to help punish me further. SO please, please, please! Use your feat, especially if it is part of your game plan from the get go.
