Damn.
Hey, it’s a lot more work than it looks. But I guess I didn’t know my own talent.
You're gonna' go far, kid.

Damn.
Hey, it’s a lot more work than it looks. But I guess I didn’t know my own talent.
You're gonna' go far, kid.
Damn.
Uh, hello. Look at these eyebrows.
You were going to spend all of break learning to do that?
Damn.
I already mastered the skill I was gonna perfect over break.
What skill is that?
I'm in a sushi coma.
But you’ll still skate?
Yeah, definitely. I just gotta' find a new place.
I'm in a sushi coma.
Really? You can’t just give up because you hurt yourself, injuries happen. If I gave up every time I broke an arm or an ankle—well actually I’m probably not the best to give you any advice, but you should totally not give up.
Ah, it's not because of that. I'm just... Bored with it, is all. Plus, it's getting too crowded.
I'm in a sushi coma.
That’s the spirit! You’ll totally be back to grinding rails in no time, right?
Maybe. Not really digging the park anymore.
I'm in a sushi coma.
Well, you’re out now, and it wasn’t anything too terrible. So at least there’s that, right?
Yeah, definitely. Could have been a lot worse, I suppose!
I'm in a sushi coma.
But you can eat regular food now, right? Like Chef Boyardee?
Hurts a little, but yeah, I can manage softer foods. I'm still intimidated by steak, though.
I'm in a sushi coma.
Did they like set the bones in your face? How do they fix that?
They have to go in and fix the position of the bone with surgery, I think. They explained it to my parents, I was way too out of it to understand. All I know is that they had to do some sort of minor surgery to fix it. Not a huge deal, they said I probably won't even have a scar.
I'm in a sushi coma.
That sounds super gory. I didn’t even know you fracture a cheekbone, how long were you in there?
Only a couple days. They wanted to make sure the swelling was going down and that I could eat properly before I left. The first day was really hard, since I was pretty out of it and my face was all puffed up.
I'm in a sushi coma.
What were you in for?
I, uh... I was grinding some rails at the park and I fell. Fractured my cheekbone, had a nasty concussion, blood everywhere. It was gross. Not life-threatening, though.
I'm in a sushi coma.
You were in the hospital?
Sure was. Sucked.
I'm in a sushi coma.
Babe, Chef Boyardee is totally classy. Especially the beefaroni. I’m all about that.
Everything tastes pretty high-class lately to be honest. Hospital food does that to a person. What they give you should be considered crimes against humanity.
I'm in a sushi coma.
Like Chef Boyardee ravioli?
Like lobster ravioli. I'm talking high-class here.
I'm in a sushi coma.
I don’t wanna move.
I feel that way when I eat too much ravioli.

Why is it people are so nice to you when you're suddenly in the hospital?
