Depression in your 20s is so much different than in your teens

I’m going through a rough time after a break up, and my depression is really kicking my ass. When I was a teen, I would’ve laid in bed for weeks, crying and feeling sorry for myself. In my 20s? I can’t do that. I have to keep going. I want carbs, and no one is gonna make 'em for me. SO I’m mustering the energy to get up and make me some goddamn mashed potatoes for lunch. Fuck off depression!
