Well, at least they're trying to get along- no, no they are not. At least that adorable Ribbon in the corner is happy to watch his husband and one of his only sources of socialization not kill each other? Unintentional polyamory, I suppose.

Nightmare looks paticularly like an evil monster here. It suits him. It's always fun to draw him in royal clothing since he does have plenty of it after becoming King of the Multiverse. I like to think with all of the excess wealth, he spends it on himself, then on Ribbon, dressing him up in the fanciest silks and diamonds. He has more of an excuse because Ribbon is a doll, he can indulge in dress up a bit through him without making himself look weaker.

Nightfury is the name of that dragon breed from How to Train Your Dragon, right? I've never watched those movies. I don't really have a ship name in mind either beause this isn't something that has ever crossed my mind. They're too busy hating each other.

Speaking of the third kid . . . none of this is canon or will be canon, but I am in a bit of a burnout, so it's fun to come up with concepts.

Apologies for the image quality. Tumblr images have been broken for the past two days and I don't know how to fix it without screwing around in the HTML. It took around 20 minutes.

I don't have a name for this kid, but I do have concepts taking place about 20-30 years in a divergence from the main series' timeline:

When _____ was born, he couldn't breathe. His throat was glitched and improperly devloped. Nightmare and Dust worked fast to make an oxygen bubble contraption to put the baby inside so he can breathe. Ribbon is worried sick and thinks he did something wrong.

Aurora and Crescendo were born with Nightmare's tendrils and _____ has one too, but it's coming out of his eye, which glitches over over time. This contributes to his blindness, on top of the other one having poor sight that they later correct with little glasses.

Constantly has to have magic supplements to keep from getting sick or caught off guard from weakness.

Aurora, as stated before, becomes very bitter as an adult thanks to being in a queen role she doesn't enjoy. She doesn't get along with either of her brothers and takes on Nightmare's perspective

Error, seeing Nightmare suffer the consequences of his actions, thinks this is the funniest thing ever and laughs at his misery from beyond the grave. He had a hand in making _____, or all the children if you think about the implications.

Nightmare would be ashamed, deeply so. As stated in the comments, he'd think he was cursed. He wouldn't even announce that this baby was born out of shame of having a weak representation of his bloodline.

Ribbon, meanwhile, still loves ______ like any other of his babies. He's okay with putting in the extra hours and lack of sleep to make sure he's happy and healthy. He's still one of his creations.

Heeeeeeey nightmare did you know there are alot of timelines parallel to yours like the one where aurora is the guardian of positivity and another where she dethroned you there are even ones where you get your ass kicked almost to death by a 10 year old and ones where error hated you so much that it became a conscious doll and there is Even a one where your have a half that isn't evil. Then there eis the one where you are a deer. And one where you possess someone's body and the human au.... we don't talk about that. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness- everyone watch this. I love it!

His little shaky voice! He does sound a lot like how I pictured him. You have a good balance of his voice and I think it's high enough! He sounds so sweet and good intentioned.

I love Ink's screaming, especially compared to how happy and casual he sounds prior with his friends. Morbid, I know, but what isn't in this series. Nobody was able to hear him when he needed help, and that includes his own mind now. Well, the MTT could hear him, but there wasn't very much they could do.

His crying near the end makes Nightmare's stare feel more personal. "Look at what you did. You're the one causing my doll to break down and cry. I was just trying to keep her happy and oblivious, and you are ruining it." Big fan of the extra lines added at the end too. Nightmare really does not want anyone to remember Ink ever existed and break his fantasy. Still proud that he broke Ink and destroyed the balance by proxy, but . He still lies to anyone who asks about Ribbon's past and Ribbon believes now that he was rescued from an abandoned AU by Nightmare. Even though he can't remember anything about it.

You wanted a happy Ribbon . . . very well, I've also wanted to draw Ribbon eating cake for a while. Present from an outside source to make him feel better after that ask. Pick a flavor, any flavor.

Also, I understand the Capcut struggle because I'm working on a video for my world history final (which has been taking up a lot of time), using it for ths first time, and I've wanted to strangle my laptop. What do you mean you want me to sign into software for basic features, but not only refuse to let me sign in, but say I will be out of memory? Sadly can not help you with audio advice as of now. You can see my pain in the file names.

Practice does make progress! With Nightmare's voice, there's usually always some secret setting that seems to fix any problem if you play with it enough. Either way, thank you so much for dubbing and all your love and support for the series and Ribbon! :D

the lights were out in my whole house complex and i ended up dreaming abt weird shit bcs the only thing i could do was sleep. like some haunted apartment that my family live in and when i enter the premise, i must go thru this guy with this weird toy house thing attached to the wall where pictures of fandom things are displayed all the time and i'm supposed to pick one or more? ANYWAY i clearly remember that there was a cool drawing of ribbon and error specifically............ where it's some half-half thing and they both look like dolls so i'm assuming it is just ruru that looks a bit more.. error-like....❓️❓️ they're invading my dreams.....

Even more humans.

From left to right, starting with Epic, I wanted him to give the energy of "weird sketchy guy you meet at a convention but is actually very chill and will help you if you're lost", or the guy running a Pokemon card trading booth dealing in SIR and EX cards. There may be a certain kind of video I got into recently. I also wanted to emphasize that he is the oldest of the mortal characters at roughly 40, 47 for most of DWTP. As for why his hair is white and makes him look signficantly older? I don't know, it just fit his character. My logic is that there was a lab experiment gone wrong. For his corrupted, nothing about him changes physically other than more scars on his face, which are hidden here by his hair, beard, and hood. He's also covered in soot here.

Nightmare makes the choice to look like he's in his 70s, even though he can shapeshift. He seems like the type to heavily believe in age = wisdom. I like to think that at some point in time, or maybe currently when he was hiring the Murder Time Trio, he uses the act of a tired old man to lure people in and get them to trust him. The covered side of his face is rotten flesh and looks like a realistic version of his skeleton counterpart, though it smells like apples instead of traditional rot so he isn't suspected of anything. He keeps it hidden under his hair, which is also in a ponytail behind his collar. If you remember my Dream design, I gave him branches wrapped around his neck and torso. I didn't have space, but Nightmare's branches are dead. He's paler than Dream because he is not getting the proper amounts of UV light and Vitamin D from the sun, unlike his brother who spends (spent) half the day outside and again, he's technically dead.

Cross was giving me a lot of issues and I couldn't decide what direction to go with his entire design. I definetely wanted him to look more rugged, battle scarred, experienced, and tired, very tired in his Corrupted state. I also thought the idea of him having X-shaped pupils was neat and I regret not drawing Ink with shaped pupils. Drawing this man with skin made me realize how revealing his torn sweater is, goodness put on a jacket. His horns would function the same way in which they're Nightmare's magic, not skull damage. I also decided to use a reference for once in my life for his metal jaw since a human body would change how it functions.

Aurora is meant to look like a female version of Passive Nightmare and has sharper features from both parents. She has sausage curls since it was a popular style for girls in the 19th century and was popular among the rich, like her father. She also inherited Ink's vitligo. Both her and Crescendo did, but hers is less subtle (Crescendo still has the bottom right cheek vitligo). This would be a massive insecurity of her's because she doesn't understand what it is or why she has it. Nightmare knows why it's there. He hates it. Ribbon taught her to cover up the spots with makeup once she was old enough. Not even he remembers his skin condition because he has a new issue of his skin being porcelain.

first up !! we have a what if nm that i decided to just call lune ( i know im soooo creative ) ;;

basically i just thought. what if passive is also there and present and nightmare is redeemable in some kind of way still. the gist of it is that during the apple incident, passive broke into two. or more accurately, some primal instinct pushed the core of negativity to preserve passive's likeness in an attempt to guarantee a failsafe for itself in case things ever gets too dire with corrupted nm. lune was sealed away as pieces of stray negativity and only managed to awaken bcs the negativity was too much and none of the other guardians are capable of doing their job hence causing a big imbalance in the multiverse.

he's a very kind-hearted person that is quick to sympathize. constantly nervous too. you'd stare at him and immediately think "ahh yes this is def dream's twin" someting something. i think corrupted would want to hunt him down on sight. bcs of his damaged bones, he has limited mobility and can only walk or move for a set amount of time each day. cough cough you can say hes almost as fragile as.. cough cough broken porcelain cough cough..

bonus info is that lune is highly uncomfortable around ribbon bcs he can't stomach the thought of (technically) him doing... all that. also i just wanted to make core technically befriend nightmare bcs the irony is funny.

now for the second concept ahh... trans dream? i've always liked the idea of nm and dream being born different genders bcs they're boy-girl fraternal twins and dream is transmacs bcs i said so. i like to imagine that despite nm being a bitchass he would respect his brother and refer to him as such... but since this is imperare nm we're talking abt...... well scratches head ?? obviously. it doesn't end very well for poor dream..

Aurora has no experience with the outside world (at this point of the story) besides visiting her uncle and seeing how horrible the zombies are. The only relationships she has exposure to are Nightmare and Ribbon, and Cross and Killer. Nightmare chooses her books carefully to monitor what she reads and romance books are one of them.

You’ve spent so much time making plans, learning how the world works and what makes people tick, refining your knowledge, and you still can’t let go of the biases instilled by those who tormented you? Can’t even question them? Are you really your own person, or did you just become what they expected all along?

the day i stop making oc's for this multiverse is where i officially got replaced by an impostor. anyway, i was scrolling thru the blog and saw the ask where someone asked nightmare what he'd do if his children were gay as hell and hes um. well. hes imperare nightmare. so, i decided to probably make someone that could be from his worst nightmares. ( everything i do is to spite him ). it's mentioned that if aurora were to have a fiancè, it'd be mafiafell's child so hey, guess who decided to hit EVERYONE with the oc-fication beam? ME!! MEE!!!! and thus i present to us all, aurora's number one supporter who def has a crush.. in a what if! :

idk if it's mentioned anywhere bcs i forgor but i have a hc that nightmare's subjects / allies are given titles due to nightmare's title as king slash emperor. the mafiafells were given the title of "dukedom" and has resumed activities as such. the first duchess became ill shortly after giving birth to dante ( 11 ) resulting in her passing away. carmine ended up taking in another wife, bluebell, as the second duchess thru dubious methods. bluebell has no access to her universe anymore and is just currently stuck so she tries to just live the current life she has. i imagine carabella is an energetic girl who dreams about big things for herself. including marrying princess aurora and becoming a princess herself or now, a knight because she heard aurora is going to marry her brother instead if talks go well. there's no way a duke's daughter can become a knight for the princess however and nobody has the heart to break it to her while shes still as innocent and darling.

both siblings were introduced shortly after aurora turned eight. this was so she'd be sociable enough to mingle with others her age and older nobles during her future debutante. carabella likes to drag aurora away to spend time together away from yucky boys (dante). she dreams of becoming adventurers with her. or becoming singers or performers or bakers together. but she's been told it's impossible over and over again.

the older she gets, the more mild-mannered she becomes. she'd probably be aurora's flower girl AND best woman. she insists on being both. also threatens her brother to treat aurora well but is secretly heartbroken. also keeps sabotaging her own engagements much to carmine's dismay. she does this in subtle ways and managed to stay unmarried for longer than any other noble girl could probably. she has a very idealized idea of love. her parents aren't really a perfectly healthy couple either. amd she just knows she really likes aurora more than dante does. (dante doesn't even like aurora that way and does it for the family)

Aww, a baby! She's so cute and looks so happy!

I like all the thought put into the the worldbuilding. Nightmare has established more of a traditional monarchy vs the multiverse's lack of government vefore. And it's almost all based around worshipping him. There's a late chapter more about this. Dream is miserable in it and nearly gets blackout drunk. There's the bonus that since the the rest of the royalty are made up of Nightmare's favorites, they're all AUs that have protection from him against the infection. The exchanges are loyalty, wealth, power, and resources. They have to be good to Nightmare and maintain their positions if they want to stay protected. Luckily, Nightmare has never taken out an entire AU, only a few people.

I had a scrapped idea for a cult that worshipped the parasite and Nightmare in order to be spared, that Core Frisk had to deal with since it was made up of Omega Timeline residents who were desperate, but there was nowhere to place that idea with everything else going on.

Anyways! Back to Carabella. I like that both siblings and Aurora get along, despite the arranged marriage thing. At least they're happy while their parents are toxic messes.

And it's nice that her parents are accepting of the crush, unlike Aurora's parents. They're just thinking, "Crap, don't want my little girl to get killed by the king."

Carabella can be both flower girl and best woman. It's less work for Nightmare (since he would be the one making all the wedding arrangements to make sure everything is perfect) and it would mean less connections for Aurora. Ribbon had nobody except the MTT, so it's a step in the right(?) direction. Aurora would keep trying to sneak off to spend more time with her while being scolded by Nightmare.

It's going to take me a hot minute to get to the ask, but I've thought about what Aurora would be like in a theoretical where she never gets outside help. She's very irritable and takes after Nightmare with his cruelty, since she learned that's the only way of maintaing any power and respect. She's terrified of ending up like Ribbon, mentally unstable, helpless, and completely dependent on someone else to take care of her. Then Ribbon is both proud Aurora learned from the best, and upset because she's distant and he doesn't know where he went wrong. Meanwhile, her older relationship with Nightmare is very toxic where she tries to be like him and win his love (like her mother), but hates him in the process. All this to say that's why I drew Aurora looking aggervated at her wedding.

Really sorry it's so sketchy, I had a lot to do today and yesterday and didn't want to keep you waiting.

Not related to the main plot at all, except for Error, but after drawing Ink for the next ask, I wanted to design the ghostly versions of the three dead guardians. Fresh is here because despite replacing Ink and gaining his powers for only two months, he counts as another Guardian of Creativity.

They all have a personal vendetta against Nightmare. Fresh is the only one who can theoretically haunt him because Ink and Error are stuck inside Ribbon. Neither of those two are awake, although Error is semi-aware due to his sheer anger and determination.

This is probably the worst thing I could've posted on Error's birthday, huh.

idk if you've been following or not but recently killer's creator drew a bunch of concepts of "what ifs" where killer gets diff soul traits and patience! killer just came out and i immediately thought of ribbon so i drew this in a flash ( IT'S SIX in the morning and i woke up doodling ) i feel feverish.. ohh.. dolls... plushies.... ohhh stuffing... can they be friends. besties. theyre so cute already. so dear to me.

Firstly, I know I'm late to this since it was 9 PM in my time zone, but go drink some water and eat some soup right now so you're not feverish.

I have not been following Killer's creator that closely, a little bit, but I looked this Killer up and aww, little guy. He looks so 'eepy.

It reminds me of an old AO3 comment on I'll Make You Mine where someone suggested an AU where Ribbon runs away from Nightmare and ends up adopted into a toy-themed AU, soon after the surgery that turned him into a doll. This would happen like that. However Ribbon gets into this AU, he ends up befriending Killer since he feels the most like home. And he's another doll he can cuddle and share stuffed animals with. Despite this not being the part of the story where all his friends keep getting killed/captured/tortured, Ribbon would do what he could to protect Killer, at least until he could calm down and learn making mistakes won't get him beaten here. I'm not sure what to say about Killer here since I don't know how different his lore and personality would be possessed by a different soul.

The other neat part is that Ribbon would be allowed to have Patience!Killer as a friend because he's an alternate version of someone Nightmare trusts. Assuming the running away thing didn't happen.

I could try? No promises since I always seem to be busy, but I do like the idea. The main issue is that I also don't have a good grasp on Patience!Killer's story and don't want to write him out of character. Would his Papyrus be alive at this time? The most I have right now is that he has Ribbon's cold issues, he was forced to kill his Papyrus. If there's anything on Twitter that has been posted about Patience!Killer, I would really appreciate it if someone sent it to me, please and thank you.

I think the most logical way for the timeline divergence is if something went wrong during the surgery, like his mechnical legs or eyes weren't attached correctly or one of the side effects (nerve damage, inability to be around water, constant coldness) is more extreme. Whatever happens, Ribbon feels worse and it forces him to really starts looking back at his relationship with Nightmare, then make him want to run away. I'd have to figure out a way for Nightmare not to be able to fix it either.

OHHH MY GOD ⁉️⁉️ potential spin-off featuring my fav of the killer variants i could go so crazy... i've actually been thinking about killer / ink ( and ribbon too ) parallels and it drove me a bit insane lately. there hasn't been any new infos abt patience! killer but because he probably shares the same exact childhood as killer, the latest comic released abt it ( and i mean like literally just released ) is that killer's gaster seems to put a whole lot attention on appearances that he drove it into baby killer's head that if he's not beautiful he won't be "kept" or be "loved" and will be forgotten and discarded easily.

so i think patience!killer wanting to appear pleasing and putting in the conscious effort to appear as such would make for a very interesting character trait? i mean i think it's neat how harmless he looks. i wonder if thats a thing he tries to maintain. since killer is already inspired by toga himiko from bnha i can imagine patience! killer asking ribbon constantly if hes cute. ugh honestly i have so many hc's abt him already it's ridiculous. that aside the parallels i'm seeing between ribbon and killer lately is.... aurhrhr... and thats not counting the fact that theres a what if au where killer is a literal living doll. what are the chances you know...

that aside, rahaf did give anyone the green light to make oc's based on the what if killers so you can totally hit him with the ocfication beam... ‼️‼️‼️
