"Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp" (1970-1971, ABC) was a spy spoof series with only chimpanzees who were given dubbed voices. It was one of the first Saturday Morning shows to have a large budget, and was made by former Get Smart writers. It featured Lance Link, a spy with a Humphrey Bogart imitation voice who was a spy for APE (Agency to Prevent Evil), and his female sidekick, Mata Hairi.

Having a chimpanzee in the cast was a standard feature of live action Saturday Morning shows for some time after this in the 70s (e.g. ARK II).
