What if I miss my dad if he moves down state..?

I think I’ll just miss the feeling of having a dad. Like.. sometimes I feel that now even though he still lives here. I miss having a dad in a way that he is a parent and is kind. I miss being a kid and getting along with him I will miss having the idea of a man in the house. I feel like I will miss him maybe.. but I guess I won’t miss the pressure of him? I don’t know. I miss when I was younger and I got along with him and how he was my go to parent when I was younger. I guess that bc I have mature md and grown to see what kind of person he really is? He is like a child and I think I liked that when I was younger bc he would play with me, my mom wouldn’t. But now I’m that in old enough to see how he really is and how he truly is as a functioning person and not as a father, he is a really not good person. I don’t want to say “bad” but he’s so manipulative! My poor mom. Though, I guess it’s my fault that I’m not close with my father.. just because of the way I think of him? Idk.. he’s said a lot of fucked up stuff and done a lot of fucked up stuff.. so idk how he could think I could forgive him for some of that. But not do I want to be my father. I want to be emotionally mature and not easily activated. I want to be able to forgive him and move on. But I can’t.
