Calum Newton: Musician https://candy-band.bandcamp.com/ @calumnewton
He contributed some of his handwritten lyrics for Issue #2 - ‘Nests’ and I can’t’ wait for you to see them! BUT! for now you can enjoy his incredible solo music. He is also in a great band 'Lunatics On Pogosticks’.
We actually met him at our old workplace where he was a regular film customer, he takes some really cool photos of his pals.
Snapshot is from a great interview with Calum check it out at - http://www.goldflakepaint.co.uk/album-review-candy-azure/
Though he spends most of his time writing and playing music in his surf pop band Lunatics On Pogosticks and the garage rock band Buddy Holliday (who are gearing up for a release at this very moment), Melbourne, Australia-based multi instrumentalist Calum Newton occasionally releases bedroom pop gems under the moniker Candy. Last month he released his latest collection of handmade bedroom pop, Azure, which he mixed and mastered himself.
