─── T he pillars seemed countless, beams of light holding up the endless sky-like abyss above, quantities and distances that couldn’t be calculated by the science of humans. Each beam a new world - the representation of a universe, a door to a brand new unknown. Such a place was a treasure to explore, Kogitsunemaru had to agree; it had not been the first time he had been aware of multiple worlds - the timelines of his home intersected at the point his Master created, so even for him there had already been two - but perhaps he had never considered so many. The light beams which stretched across the ethereal plane of the Stargate put it into perspective and he pondered, ever so curiously, what sort of splendors each gate held.
With a slow, fascinated meander he wandered, drifting his attention from one gate to the next; a fox spirit adrift in space. He wondered what it must have been like for his Saniwa, whom had already grown accustomed to journeying between worlds; to be a traveler between places, without knowledge of the rules of each universe, adapting to foreign trials -- thus the sword became acutely aware he truly knew nothing of these new portals, of dangers or customs or laws. Carrying with him both he and his Master’s curiosity, it would do no good should he not return from the Stargate; perhaps the advice of a more seasoned traveler was required before bounding into the worlds before his feet. The attire of the girl he approached was unique, a certain air about her seemed to imply she’d seen it all; she looked the part of a traveler; and found among the open-dimension of the Stargate, one would have to assume such a role. Manners honed from years within the Emperor’s courts at the side of a family whom ensnared themselves into royalty, the fox’s greeting was a courteous bow upon approach - an old-world respect that was matched with a curious smile and a sharp, inquisitive gaze.
“ If you’ll allow the intrusion... from one wanderer upon this plane to another. How does a foreigner navigate these countless worlds? When considered, my country of origin is rather small... not that I dislike it. But as a traveler, perhaps my mind has become small too, compared to the endless number of worlds before me. ”
