The META Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides mentorship and scholarship to Latino youth in Southern California, with the vision of increasing the college opportunities for Latinos to become successful business and community leaders.
META is partnering with Small Green Door to host an art exhibition and silent art auction. All proceeds will go directly to supporting META’s Scholars in their efforts to earn college degrees.
We are inviting Los Angeles artists to donate a painting, sculpture, or photograph towards the art auction to make an impact in the lives of local Latino students.
Why donate your work to META?
META has raised over $400,000 for scholarships that make college affordable for local Latino students. Each piece of art donated will make education possible for even more scholars.
Featured artist biographies will be published on the META website, in the exhibition program, and across media outlets.
Artists whose work is sold will receive a tax donation credit for the value of the artwork.
All featured artists will receive 2 free tickets to the exhibition.
The artist whose work raises the most money will be invited to put on solo exhibition at Small Green Door!
Please send a brief artists’ biography and photos of the piece(s) you would like to donate to [email protected] by February 12th.
The LA Artists for Scholars Exhibition will be held on Saturday, March 10th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at Small Green Door in Commerce, CA.
Small Green Door is an interactive design and product photography studio in East Los Angeles offering gallery and event space to promote and incubate artistic talent. Small Green Door celebrates our community through history, education and the arts.
