Essence of Offense
Game that uses the “nato” principle. (Not attached to outcomes.) Trying to get as many good offensive possessions in a row as possible. Good offensive possession = not a turnover and an uncontested shot.

2 on 2 3 Across
This is a game that is played in the half court. There are four "live players" in the game. 2 offense that start at half court and 2 defensive players guarding them.
The offense has an advantage as there is 3 other offensive players positioned at each wing and the nail. These 3 players cannot move, shoot or dribble. They can only pass and set screens for the other 2 offensive players.
The two players on offense try to use each other and the 3 extra screeners/passers to try and score. When the turn is over, offense goes to defense, defense replaces screeners.
I consider this to be a defensive activity as it really isolates those two defenders. Principles such as jumping to the ball and help positioning are clearly highlighted and exposed in this game.
