🍴low calorie strawberry muffins!🍴

hey guys! sorry for being absent for a little bit, but my mum took my phone recently, so I might not be able to post as frequently for a bit. however, I’ve whipped up an awesome muffin recipe, so give it a try!

-Ingredients-  

½  lemon zest (2 cal)

2 tbsp sugar free syrup (15 cal)

1/2 cup greek yoghurt (69 cal)

1/4 banana (mashed) (26 cal)

1 large egg (72 cal)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract (0 cal)

1/2 cup flour (228 cal)

1/4 tsp baking powder (0 cal)

1/2 cup chopped strawberries (27 cal)

-Directions-

preheat your oven to 180 degrees celsius, or 350 degrees fahrenheit. then, prepare a muffin or cupcake tray with eight muffin liners, and spray them with some nonstick spray. in a medium bowl, mix together all of your ingredients, except the strawberries, until they are all well combined. then, add the strawberries before pouring the batter into the muffin/cupcake tray. stick the muffins in the oven to bake for about 25 minutes, or until you can stick a toothpick in it and have it come out clean. cool for a couple minutes after they have baked, and enjoy!

Fasting Tips

I’ve just finished my first ever fast!! Yay!! Here are some tips that helped me through the past twenty four hours:

1) Drink as much water as humanly possible! I know this tip is literally everywhere, but it is supper helpful.

2) Keep yourself busy: so busy, that when meal time comes around, you’ll be working on something more productive than adding fat to your waistline

3) Flavoured water! I personally really like gatorade zero, because they kept me energised and focused, but also killed my cravings. Find yourself a good zero calorie drink, and you can get rid of cravings really fast.

4) Plan for tomorrow: what are you going to eat tomorrow? How many calories do you plan to have, or what foods are you craving? Thinking ahead about what you want to eat can help you not binge.

5) Self care. Seriously, though- take a warm bath, listen to your favourite music, or even just watch a movie. Keep yourself distracted.

i had a experience today where my body overheated i started to lose focus in my schoolwork my heart started beating so loud and fast and hurting like a mf and i thought “omg this is it this is how i die i am going to die in the middle of art class” then i decided to try to alert someone i tapped my friends thigh my breathing was shaky and loud and my face was red and tried to tell her “get the teacher somethings happening” all that came out was a scrambled mumbled sentence and i thought i was about to faint but she understand and the teacher got her to take me real quick and since she knew i was anorexic she got a proteing bar and made me eat that shit and the second i took a bite everything slowly started to calm down and i have honestly never been more terrified

dont take life for granted as someone with an ed it doesnt matter whether your bmi is high or low your heart can stop at any second

This is extreme hypoglycemia!!!!

When you don’t eat, your blood sugar goes DOWN. This causes a variety of symptoms:

-An irregular heart rhythm

-Fatigue

-Pale skin

-Shakiness

-Anxiety

-Sweating

-Hunger

-Irritability

-Tingling sensation around the mouth

-Crying out during sleep

-Confusion, abnormal behavior or both, such as the inability to complete routine tasks

-Visual disturbances, such as blurred vision

-Seizures

-Loss of consciousness

ALWAYS make sure you have a fast acting carbohydrate on you. Orange juice, LifeSavers, (NOT DIET) soda, dried fruits (raisins), bananas, glucose gel/tablets, energy bars, rice cakes, pretzels, other candies.

These will correct your blood sugar (bring it up) in 5-15 minutes!!!!! Eat them when you start to feel faint or right after you pass out. Hydrate yourself as well!!!

Place your head between your knees, this enhances blood flow to your brain. Sit down/remain lying down when you regain consciousness. Get up SLOWLY and when you’re ready. Other options include raising the legs to aid blood flow to the brain as well.

Please guys, i was in the shower one day and was about to get out and i suddenly couldn’t lift my arms or do anything, reality felt like it didn’t exist and my heart was so loud and j could HEAR it skipping beats and everything was oscillating between intense rushes of noise and silence and i have massive black splotches in my eyes and i couldn’t see anything and i dont know how i managed to get out of the shower and the first thing i did was collapse in front of a jar of rock candies j found somewhere in the bottom if my room and i bearly managed to get one out, but i did and oh god i felt ALIVE.

I have never been so scared.

I had a BMI of 21 and had only been restricting for a month.

Verdict is- carry something round with you at all costs. It may genuinely save your life.

🍩low cal donuts!🍩

first of all, thank you all so much for your love on my vegan pancake recipes! secondly, I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that we all love a good donut. so here's a good low cal version!

-ingredients-

1 cup of flour (455 cal)

1/3 cup sugar (258 cal)

1 1/2 tsp baking powder (0 cal)

1/4 tsp salt (0 cal)

1 1/2 tsp egg whites (4 cal)

1/4 tsp cinnamon (0 cal)

1/2 tsp vanilla (0 cal)

2/3 cup almond milk (20 cal)

1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar (0 cal)

-directions-

get out a donut tray and preheat the oven to 176 degrees celcius, or 350 degrees fahrenheit. you can also use a donut machine. then, in a bowl, mix together the ingredients until it's a well combined batter. place the batter into the tray or machine. there should be around twelve donuts. for the machine, it should take around five minutes (possibly more or less) to bake, and if you're using a tray in the oven, it should take around 8-10 minutes. once they're ready, let them cool before consuming :)

*bonus glaze!*

in a bowl, mix a third cup of powdered sugar (156 cal) with a tbsp of almond milk (2 cal) until it forms a glaze like consistency. drizzle half a tbsp of glaze on each donut. enjoy! (14 cal per 1/2 tbsp)

🥞vegan pancakes!🥞

these pancakes were inspired from ashley halloween's tortilla video, but I swapped the salt for sweeter. these guys are super tasty, and super easy, so give 'em a try!

-ingredients-

2 tbsp white flour (57 cal)

1/2 tsp baking powder (0 cal)

cinnamon to taste (0 cal)

2 tbsp water (0 cal)

2 packets sweetener (0 cal)

-directions-

mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until they are combined into a batter. then, spray a pan with zero-calorie nonstick spray, and spread half the batter into a circle shape on the pan. put the pan on a stove, and cook it like you would a normal pancake. then, using the remaining batter, make yourself a second pancake. serve with sugar free syrup, and enjoy!
