So despite spending weeks working on these tarot-themed cards for @legendlarkpod, I forgot to take my own pictures before I mailed them! Luckily Errol is a gentleman and scholar who documented them after they arrived, so thank you, Postmaster. Sadly, Tumblr is unhappy with the lovely video footage Errol took to show that many of these cards are shiny, so just take my word for it: I used a lot of metallic and shimmery paints!

[ID: (same as the alts) three screenshots from transcripts of LegendLark episodes. the first is from episode 57, where Corbin and Fran were discussing burning down Ainsley and The Gap's house (not shown in the screenshot) and Slake and Maeri talked them out of it. notably, Corbin says, "If we leave them alive, they could join Torva," and once Slake and Maeri convince him not to do anything to them, he says if it comes back to bite them, he and Fran told them so.

the second is from episode 7 of the hrose camp mini arc, where they're establishing lore for why Ainsley knows first aid. The Gap and Ainsley were going to join the military because they love Torva, and Antone agrees that he's hot.

the third is from episode 121, where Pavilla is describing the Guardians' options of where to take the dwarven refugees and get military backup and supplies. She's pointing out how the Madrean nobility is divided and may not be willing to offer help, and specifically points out how the Postmingers (Antone's family) have joined Torva's side. the cast is delighted by this turn of events and concludes that this is Ainsley and The Gap's influence on Antone, who then convinced their parents to join Torva. /end ID]

Is Mr. Wendal named after the Arrested Development song?

Haha, I had no prior knowledge of this song, but I did just check out the music video just now, I'm enjoying the vibe. I actually named him after the pendant my grandma used to wear when I was a kid, it was a golden wenteltrap. Maybe because it was an antique object that loomed large in my mind? Name just felt right. Fun fact, apparently wenteltrap means “a winding staircase” in Dutch!

Oh boy, I've got a whole unfinished document detailing the dynamics I see in between each individual relationship.
