New Home page
We have improved the home screen making it easier to find select the business you want to use.
Support website
So our customers can get help, and possibly help each other, we have set up a Q and A style help system. This is located at http://support.smartflow.com and you can just use your SmartFlow logins to access it.
Smartflow continues to improve the product based on user feedback and requests. This months release includes the following improvements:
Calendar - Resource views
We have now added the ability to split the day view in the calendar by a resource. Let say for example you have records relating to booking a room. You can split the day view by room so you can see what is booked in for a given room at any time. Maybe you might want to split the view by your staff so you can see exactly what work your staff have on for that day.
This can be any field you choose that has select options.
Videos!
We are continuing our video series and adding more insight on how you can utilize Smartflow - expect more videos over the next few months.
Other structural changes
We are continuously improving the user interface and now we have added a home button to the top left area when viewing an organisation. We have also added better guides for adding in Forms based on the information you wish to use.
As always watch this space for further improvements.
Calendars by default will now only show active (where the record status value is between 0 and 49). If you need to show all records the advanced filter view on a calendar will allow you to do this.
Forms can optionally set themselves to a deleted or other statuses optionally on being saved or submitted. This allows more flexibility. This is easy to change under the form settings.
We have been improving the friendliness around export to csv - let us know what you think!
Creating a new organization is now quicker as we reduce bottlenecks.
As always much behind the scenes works has gone into improving the efficiency of Smartflow making it more responsive for you to use.

Improved Organisation Creation Tools
When Creating your organisation you now have the ability for SmartFlow to build the organisation for you using the templates available.
The best bit is that SmartFlow will build the structure in front of you so you can see how it works and how you can modify your organisation anyway you want to!
Flexi-Forms
With advent of multiple size devices designing interactive forms that work across these devices presents a challenge to design a form that can just as useful on a mobile as on a desktop.
Never one to back down from a challenge we set out to create a simple tool that not only is easy to create a form but can happily be resized and still show useful information at all sizes.
Flexi-Forms is still beta and we recommend you try it and let us know what you think. Stay tuned however as I will be posting more about Flexi-forms in the future!
Form Improvements
Just because we are working on Flexi-forms doesn't mean we are ignoring Forms. Forms editing has been vastly improved. Tables now have an easy column handling and a simplified set-up.
Tables also now have an option for showing common rows that are added to a table in a form. For an example of this, say you have an invoice form with line items. In 90% of cases you charge a hourly call out fee. Call out fee can already be on the form waiting for you to just enter in the quantity.
Better SMS/Email capabilities
SMS can now send messages longer than 160 characters. This will be a relief to our customers requiring this. As always though each part of an SMS is charged e.g a message that is 340 chars long is a 3 part SMS.
SmartFlow feels that business should in control of their own email sending. In the new Other Services sub tab under the organisation settings you add the details for an email account to send your emails form. This makes it easy to send email from a variety email accounts.

Calendar filtering
After a suggestion based on user feedback we have added filtering to your calendar. So now you can see your reminders, but only if they are on the nice list :). I'm sure the filters you set-up will be far more sensible though.

Let me explain... This is the first question people ask when I describe how SmartFlow works. When I start talking about the Forms, Process management/Workflow, Calenders and Data storage capabilities of SmartFlow, the response is "so it's for XYZ Industry?"
Well yes and no... SmartFlow is for any organisation in any industry that wants to have some control and insight into how their organisation works. SmartFlow can run your whole organisation or just a smallest part.
Maybe you have a small internal process:
Receive a customer enquiry
Organise a sales person to call back the potential customer
Sell something to customer
Follow up with customer a month later to make sure they are happy.
For most business with a few customers this isn't probably isn't so hard to handle. Suddenly you have 50 customers and now it's a nightmare to manage.
