okay so a ceasefire will happen soon, inshallah, but i just know the second it does, most of y'all will pack it up and go home. the world has proven time and time again that the second the violence "stops", then everyone forgets about us and then we just go back to suffering under the israeli occupation. you guys need to promise us, promise every single palestinian child in the world right now, that you will not stop fighting. that you will continue boycotting, you will continue protesting, you will continue disrupting the world until palestine is free. and then we'll do it again. and again and again and again and again. for sudan, for the congo, for everyone who is suffering right now.
you guys cant keep leaving us and forgetting about us once you've done "your part". it always happens, and we always go back to suffering. you need to stand with us until palestine is completely free. until we have our land back, until we can rebuild our homes, until we can drink clean water and breathe clean air, until our children grow up never having to face a horror like the nakba ever again. you need to stay fighting until we are all free forever.
disability rights involves the right to do fuck all. the right to be a useless member of society and STILL be loved and cared for and have a fair standard of living. human beings are not defined by the capital we produce.

unfortunate that the united states has been very successful at controlling narratives around word war 2 and positioning itself as the polar opposite of nazism and the main force fighting fascism when america was complicit in the holocaust. not only did american press report positively about hitler and the nazi party up until the end of the 30â˛s, some publications cooperated with nazi germany, american companies had investments and connections to nazi germany that they maintained until american involvement in the war, and companies like ibm in particular gave nazis the technology necessary to make the holocaust possible in the first place. some company owners themselves had nazi sympathies like henry ford and others just saw it as a business opportunity. the us denied entry to european jewish refugees and deported jewish refugees back to germany, many senators and other government officials during the 1930s openly supported nazism and worked to prevent the us from taking a side in ww2, and during the 30s large pro nazi rallies were held across the us. american eugenics movement, american race laws and american genocide set the model for the holocaust and there shouldnt be any discussion of nazism and the holocaust without also discussing the extent of american complicity in it.Â
anyways heres some material on it

its always to your benefit to look at history through different lenses, especially with american myth. from the founding of this country as a âfree real estateâ land grab that necessitated genocide, to the economic-first and humanitarian-second, third, or fourth factors to the civil war and so many other pivotal points in its own and global history, you need to shake loose the self-serving myths.
you need to analyze the huge contradictions in the noble narratives. the savior who at best, takes years to act and takes all the credit

there are three genocides going on right now, congo, sudan and palestine need our support, please continue to share as much as you can
here are more information about whatâs happening in congo and sudan and palestinestudies is a great resource to continue to keep up with whatâs happening in palestine
if you have more credible ressources feel free to share
letâs celebrate the citizens of palestine, congo and sudan and remember the silent heroes who are fighting alone for their rights, to preserve their lives and their culture
what's history has shown is that no matter how armed colonizers and governments are, people coming together and fighting for what's right - our rights will always be more powerful than any army can ever be
the people from sudan to congo to palestine will be free
Marchers at the San Francisco Gay Day Parade
ph: Marie Ueda | 1977
Image Description: A black and white photograph of two marchers on a street, lined with observers. One carries a sign that reads, âA gay landlord is still a landlord,â interspersed with stars. End ID.
Very interesting how different this hits 50 years on. In its original context, the sign was presumably in the vein of "gay people are people too", part of the very necessary groundwork that pride was built upon.
However, through a modern lens, it's an effective statement against rainbow capitalism; "just because your landlord/boss/cop/soldier is gay/female/black/etc doesn't mean they aren't still inherently a bastard". This may be the original intent behind the sign, but the former seems more likely in the relatively early stages of the campaign for American LGBT rights
honey this was an anti landlord statement, in 1977 and today. the roots of this community are far more radical than youâre giving credit
smash the church, smash the state!: the early years of gay liberation is available on libgen and archive.org.* if you have any interest whatsoever in lgbtq politics and organizing in the U.S., you should read this book. there are other books as well, but i recommend this one in particular as a starter bc itâs a collection of writings from people directly involved in lgbtq activism in the 60s and 70s, so youâre going to get different (often conflicting) perspectives.Â
*archive.org link requires signing up for a free account. youâll then have access to countless other books and periodicals that cover lgbtq histories and cultures.
I know this will bother unhealed adults, but the real world, more often than not, does give you second chances and do overs. Very rarely are things set in stone. And people, especially young people, deserve to know that. Because lording the idea that they can never mess up, even once, does a lot more damage than good.
I see a lot of âcisâ women say they wish they were androgynous in the way men were or they wish they were pretty in the way men were. This is your sign to go try to do that. You may find you enjoy being an androgynous woman. You may find you no longer identify as a woman. You may find you donât like androgyny. You will not know until you try. Cut your hair if youâve always wanted to but have been afraid to. Shop in the menâs section if youâve been too nervous to. Wear clothing with an androgynous ďżź silhouette. Experiment with binding, take baby steps with compression bras if you want. Wear unisex scents. Live life. Try things you want to try. A lot of cis women do not understand the joys of mens pants and mens deodorant. I think everyone should try both of those things.
