I got this glow-in-the-dark Danny Phantom keychain last Sydney Manga and Anime Show (SMASH) 2015. Apparently the people who sold me these are American artists visiting Australia :D

lovely prints i obtained during smashcon last weekend! it’s already been a week since then omg;;

i had a really great time! thanks for everyone who came to visit/bought prints/traded prints with me, it was really nice to meet a few friends who i hadn’t seen for a long time/met for the first time (with their extremely lovely cosplays !!) unfortunately i got sick saturday night so i was pretty dead the whole of sunday (and even now i’m sniffly) but i was still able to enjoy myself over the weekend so it was all good c: and a big thank you to my lovely hs friends who tagged along to support me and look after my table on both days and my table buddy nini and her friend who were extremely friendly and funny (and had the cutest keychains) cccc: 

i’ll see you guys again next year (hopefully) with more merch !! (and hopefully i will be well)

Some photos of the dolls on display around SMASH…..mostly Danny Choo’s smartdolls, which he has sucessfuly had me fall in love with. The others are table mascots. Comparing the smartdoll to the dollfies though…I really think the smartdoll looks better. One thing I didn’t really like about a lot of dollfies is how their eyes often have that ‘sunken in’ look, or like there isnt enough white in their eyes, or their faces seem kind of zombielike, but the smartdoll eyes are just so bright and cute and their faces so expressive. I really like Ebony, the tan one, for both the tan and her adorable face. (and I also just really like that there’s a tan one at all come on Azone when do we get darker skin bodies) The male one Eiji is still a prototype - which is obvious, as he doesnt really look like the Eiji character design anyway. But he’s looking pretty good so far and I really want to see one modded into a Kaito. (also it was only at the end of the last day that I realized that I totally forgot to visit the actual doll display that was set up for anyone to bring their dolls to and take photos of, but the con was so damn big this year it was hard to find my way to places. I was hoping some photos would turn up in the tumblr tag but I havent seen any yet) (I did have a few people coo over Shuya and take photos of him, too.)

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the new follows!  SMASH 2015 WAS AMAZING! I was so glad I could attend and got to meet a bunch of other artists there! It was super fun and i’d definitely like to do it again!! :3c

Speaking of, I do intend on tabling at Brisnova later this year with my college buds!! Hopefully I’ll see you guys there too :3c
