my dog died on june 1st, at 6:30. she waited for me to get home, and she just started dying on her favorite couch. it took me too long to realize what was happening, and she never made it to the ER

i miss her every day, but nobody wants to talk about her anymore. it feels like half of my heart's been ripped out of my chest through my ribcage - and the half that's been taken is the best half. the rest is only that; the remainder.

I love you, Greta, and you will always be my baby. You changed my life and the way I understand all life around me, and how I treat myself. Life was so good when it was you, me, and Dad working every day until you passed. I love you now, I loved you then, and I will love you forever. Rest in peace, baby gretters - sorry I wasn't better

you know, looks like 2026 is looking up. i'm back into reading and knitting, i set up my new apartment, and my brother and his wife have a baby due in september. AAAAAA crazy times

a big part of being happy is being excited. be excited for everything - making a cup of tea, decorating your future apartment, seeing a friend again, falling in love unexpectedly, the next episode of a show you like, finishing something stressful, buying something you’ve been saving up for, a new album, sunsets, traveling, road trips, and the feeling of going to bed after a long day. think of something to be excited about and daydream about it often when you’re sad.
