“I was fortunate. The blade missed my spark but barely, I fell into the smelting pool, immediately before it broke and cooled around me. Some of the knights that reclaimed Luna one found me, nursed me back to health, and I set out to find the rest.” Hoping that explanation would suffice for now.
“It is alright old friend. Ghosts haunt us all. We will never be the same after that.”
Axe listened to Dai Atlas speak. There was a bunch of mixed emotions in his spark. Everything is so different it seemed. Though he did appreciate that Dai Atlas told him about what had happened.
“That couldn’t be more true.” Pausing briefly in thought. “Don’t you–Don’t you think that we should move to a different location? So that this doesn’t happen again?”
Dai Atlas pondered the question a moment before coming to a conclusion.
“No, At least, not while we regather our brethren. They need a familiar landing zone, somewhere to return to. We left Cybertron to avoid unrest, I will not allow them to chase us from our second home so easily. If we left, we would need to start all over again, without the metrotitan, moving our city, or what remains of it, is nigh impossible as it is. Here, at least we have something to start with.” Taking a deep vent as he observed the ruins. “It can be rebuilt. It already is being rebuilt. We can do it, together, and bring the others home. It’ll take time, but we can repair our home.”
