Sometimes the best way to get over something, is to admit that it exists. In the past month I have experienced stages of grief, and although I’m currently in the stage 4: Depression… Creating this comic helped me reach stage 5: Acceptance. I was scared to lose him. Not only him, but the friends that came with him. I have never been so accepted by a group of people… and I worried that without him, they wouldn’t want me anymore. Yes, I still love my ex, and yes he loves another and I want him to be happy, even if it’s without me. However, I have a wonderful man who went through all these feelings with me and stayed by my side, even when I messed up.

If we can get through this, Mo, we can get through anything.
