Alrighty, so if I'm going to be posting again after more than 3 years, I probably need some sort of reintroduction, don't I? Something to pin to the top of my blog, now that that's a thing?
So... Hello! I'm Smie Grin. I'm a genderqueer (they/them) software engineer who also happens to draw and make games. Over the past few years, I've gone through the whirlwind journey that is cracking my transgender egg, coming out to my family, starting HRT... so far so good!
I enjoy lots of various things, but I suspect most of this blog will be art I find adorable, inspiring, or aspirational, interspersed with my own artwork and pontification about gender and faith and game design, probably blending those all together sometimes.
I should also note that I've started drawing stuff that's a little... saucier these days (a gender awakening followed by a faith crisis will do that to a fella). I'll be sure to use the community tags if I do post any of it here, but that does mean this is now, officially, an 18+ blog just to be safe. Besides that, I'm almost 28 years old as of this post, so like... if you're a minor, you'll probably find better blogs to follow than this one in terms of relatability. X]
