like i can see the potential in Maegor having some sense of ownership over Aenys, by clinging to their common paternity - which, in my headcanon, explains his hostility towards Alyssa and their children while remaining loyal to Aenys even during his exile

in his mind, Aenys is Aegon's son (not Rhaenys' son) and Aenys' children are just Alyssa's children
