We tend to follow more people than we do institutions. #com220
Tonight, what's viral on all social media in Lower Michigan is the terrible storm that's passing. So I'm just following the herd and posting a picture of it #com220
This picture shows my emotional reaction to when I found out my boyfriend got me Michigan football tickets. Jennifer Jerit talked about how your emotional reaction is your first reaction. Being a Michigan fan I was obviously very excited and surprised to get these tickets #com220
I choose this picture to relate to Jennifer Jerit's campaign rhetoric. #com220
Yes, I will admit that I am caught in the Kardashian trap. I watch this show because it's appealing to me. It's almost become addicting. I would much rather watch this than the news because it's way more entertaining to me #com220
These are the only magazines laying around my house. I choose them to relate to negative venue. I chose to read Lucky magazine rather than National Geographic because it's more entertaining. I thought it was interesting that 5/6 magazines had "sexy" on the cover #com220
I was just playing with my German Shepherd Ava and just happened to snap this picture. I think it's a good action shot. I know she looks terrifying but we were just having fun. #com220
When I showed one of my friends the What Does The Fox Say video this was her reaction. I think this reaction says that she thinks it's dumb. #com220
Because we said that a selfie was an acceptable choice for a picture #SelfieSunday #com220 #NoOtherOptions
This weekend my dad was on his way to see my sister and my new born niece when he saw this. It's rare to see the end of the rainbow and my dad saw it! This picture was taken in northern Michigan. I chose it but it relates to taking picture of things we know but this is a twist! #com220
At a school in my hometown they have completely banned any product with peanuts on the whole campus. To me this illustrates the master/elite dynamic. Only one student in the whole school has this allergy, so they will not allow these sorts of products. Everyone else now must sacrifice for this student #com220
I took this picture because it represents where I come from. This picture is a representation that I'm from a small farm house up north. I love taking pictures if nature because that's where I grew up. I think it's so beautiful #com220
I chose this picture to relate back to the discussion about attention span. The original picture was a panoramic so it was a much bigger span but I think it captures that peoples attention can be all over the place. There's so much to look at! #com220
German Shepherds are one of the smartest dogs and they have a great about of knowledge. This relates to Johnson and his three topics of knowledge that relate to semantics as well.
Walked into my step dad ready the local newspaper when I went home for the weekend. This gives a great look at how the front page is laid out. Big picture in the top right, drawing your attention in. Also the main stories occurring in the county are on the front page.
While I was wandering around art prize, I thought it was interesting how almost everyone was snapping pictures of the art. It made me wonder if people just take pictures to be a part of the herd or if they're doing it for memories. The question has many answers. #com220
As awkward as this is I took a picture randomly and this girl looked, however, she didn't smile. I decided to take this picture to mock the photographer we looked at in class. I think it's interesting that our natural reaction when a camera is shoved in our face is to smile. #com220
