I've just realised. The CW didn't just bury their gays in the narrative. They tried to bury the storyline too. They tried to bury their entire gay storyline. Its like double bury your gays. TRIPLE, even, because they has Cas confess and immediately killed him, and Dean's ONLY VIABLE HAPPY ENDING was with Cas, and instead of dealing with that, they killed him too, AND THEN ALL THE FUCKERY OF THEM CHANGING THE PLOT AND CUTTING THE RECIPROCATION AND CUTTING CAS OUT OF THE FINAL AND BARELY EVEN HAVING HIS NAME MENTIONED BECAUSE THEY KNEW IT WOULD READ AS RECIPROCATED GAY.

THEY DIDNT JUST BURY CAS AND DEAN; THEY TRIED TO BURY THE WHOLE FUCKING STORYLINE. ITS TRIPLE STRENGTH BURY YOUR GAYS, I'M GONNA COMMIT ARSON

What makes me sick is not only did the CW rob Dean and Castiel of a happy ending and the queer community of representation for MONEY but the fallout landed on Jensen Ackles and he couldn’t even defend himself. Him and Misha filmed the scene and reciprocation only to have it butchered without their knowledge and Jensen took the slander for it

so get this...... in a story about free will and defiance we watched a love story unfold in which the writers inserted a character to represent the network who told them their story was never meant to be there but despite that they still confessed their love and then the actual real network censored it out only for it to defy all odds and turn up anyway in a spanish dub

The fact that the CW deliberately cut the line where Dean reciprocated and then changed the episode’s title from “Truth” to “DESPAIR” is so so fucking funny to me how can a network be this cartoonishly homophobic
