I’m Sel, 23 y/o, nonbinary trans guy and aroace-spec

My pronouns are he/him//they/them, but I’m also comfy with it/its

Age regressor and age dreamer and also pet regressor

Permaregressed to 15-18ish, age dream and possibly regress to ages 8 and under I think (it’s hard for me to figure out ages when I’m littler)

Plural with a system I’m still figuring out. A couple head mates are otherkin

Other stuff

This blog is mostly me reblogging stuff and most of my own posts are ones where I’m writing a longer thing in a reblog. Reblogs include fandoms things, regression things, queer things, the occasional political thing, animal things, mental health things, therian and otherkin things, and other random things.

I’ve been figuring out how regression works for me the last couple years, and pet regression to wolf pup was something I did long before I knew there were words for it. Age regression and dreaming are something I’ve been figuring out, but what I think I’ve figured out is I’m a perma-age regressor to teen years like 15-18, and I age dream to younger years like… 4-10? Maybe 4-8? I’m not sure, memories of my actual childhood are a blur so it’s hard for me to tell. I could also be regressing to those younger ages without realizing so I don’t quite know yet exactly how it works for me when it comes to age regression.

And may you please explain too how to know the age range someone regress to? I'm not sure about mine.

I'll happily explain these things to you my lovely.

In a very generic and obvious way, regession really is up to the regressor. There is a lot of overlaps with this "types" so it's okay if multiple definitions sound right. I'll do my best to summarise so you get an idea though.

🐛 Voluntary regression is when a regressor can essential go into thier smaller headspace when they would like to.

🐛 Involuntray regression is when a regressor slip into a smaller headspace without intending to. This can often be the result of a trigger, positive or negative.

🐛 Age dreaming which is when and individual engages with baby/kiddy things simply for thier enjoyment and comfort. A lot of age regressor age dream as well be being just an agedreamer is also common.

🐛 Middle regression refers to regressor that regress to the age of approx a middle schooler. Usually 6-12.

🐛 Permaregression is when an idividual might always feel that they are in the headspace of a baby/kid constsantly. Perhaps thier interest have always remained as a child level, maybe thier communication skills reflect that too. it's dependant onthe regerssor :)

About your little age...

Something to note is that regression essentially causes mental functions to go back in time, so to speak. Of course your brain remains as developed as it physically is (which is why I think some regressors are able to type or write despite having a mental age younger than that ability). Therefore the best way to tell your little age might be my taking note of you physical and mental abilities. If you don't speak very much or only say a word at a time when you are small you can assume a little age an infancy to 3 year old age. Perhaps you are able to speak just disjointed but struggle or get confused with physical functions like opening a bottle cap then an age of 4-6 could be about right. A good way to track these things is a notebook that you can put anything in (drawings, words etc) and see if little you notes down anything that is useful.
