#i saw someone complain how she’s basically playing a version of veronica in this movie and LOL NO. #they may share similar characteristics but the range that Camila was allowed to show in this movie………she has NOT been able to show on #RAS’s rivderale. there is no consistency to ANYTHING on that show. the characterizations are all over the place #here camila was able to give you a full bodied performance #so yall can FIGHT me on that one #riverdale is nowhere for any of these poor actors to truly showcase their talents come on now

Okay I don’t want to hear a single person ever say again that having representation is too much on a TV show or not realistic because heartbreak high had autistic representation, lesbian representation, non-binary representation, asexual representation, Aboriginal representation, and Asian representation all in one show and not for one fucking second did I think this is unrealistic, especially in a Sydney based school. That is exactly what kids are like and is exactly what real life is like!!!!!

for anyone who doesn’t know, heartbreak high episode 4 was written by meyne wyatt. an Aboriginal actor and writer who has spoken quite extensively about the police brutality he and his father have been subjected to over the years. the reason i’m saying this is because a lot of people from what i’ve seen appear to be under the assumption (for some reason) that this episode and the scene depicting police brutality against an Aboriginal teenager and the subsequent aftermath was written by a white person and it wasn’t.
