Where did the books state how tall Neil was?

So on page 37 of The Foxhole Court, where Neil meets Andrew at the Airport, the description reads:

“Neil crossed the room to meet him. Neil had been the shortest player on the Millport Dingo line, but he had a good five inches on Aaron.” 

I keep saying people reciting as fact that Neil is 5′3 and the twins are 5′0.″  But where did that come from?  Do those heights come from a different place in the series?  Did it come from something Nora said?  Are we all just really bad at math?   I recognize that there are much bigger inconsistencies in these books than just the heights, but I really want to know where this came from.
