The Taylor Swift Era represented falling in love for the first time. How exciting and scary it is.
The Fearless Era represented that you fall in love and sometimes it falls apart and just isn’t meant to be.
The Speak Now Era represented that you’re going to make mistakes in love, and how you can sometimes fix them and sometimes you cant.
The Red Era was about falling in and out of love, the ups and the downs, and the emotions you go through.
And finally, the 1989 Era. This era represented how love just doesn’t work out sometimes, and that it’s OKAY to be alone. Because you don’t need a boy to make you happy, what you need is self confidence and friendship.
Taylor has taught not only me but thousands of others fans all of these messages throughout her albums. She always manages to talk to us, ask about our day, hang out with us, and take pictures with us even on the days i’m sure she doesn’t want to. She’s always been there for us, and we’ve always been there for her. This era was especially important because it was about friendship, and dancing to the beat of your own drum. She invited some of us to her house, to play and dance to an album before it was even released. Taylor says herself that she thinks of her songs and albums as her diary, where as I picture them as chapters in her life story; and I think this was the best chapter yet. Thank you for staying the same yet remaining different throughout the years. Thank you for never failing to show your love and gratitude towards each and every one of us. Thank you for being you. Thank You, for the 1989 era.
