"yeah I've seen you dying, what's up with that?" isnt a pickup line but it's a pickup line that would work on me
another thing abt the etho-bdubs mutually constitutive identity bullshit & their care and keeping of each other is that bdubs will gas etho up on video any time any place, and it is ofc genuine admiration; when playing up his own foolishness and reactivity, he's just as likely to insult him over what is obviously nothing or a contrived competition. but he also is very sensitive to what he thinks etho is sensitive about, like the floor stuff, and that (almost) never goes in his own videos.
on the other hand etho will happily make fun of bdubs for both builds and irl characteristics (small castle, short height, pink hoodie, mostly just emasculating him in general)... but he's way more likely to cut in otherwise behind-the-scenes or process-y clips of bdubs being wildly gentle with him or complimenting him in reserved, genuine ways. while also acting stressed about running jokes abt his own character he's beholden to even though it boils down to shit bdubs joked about and he's not saying it's bdubs' fault ever at all. (tnt vs sucker! harsh critic! etc.)
so basically you have public hard-line you're perfect and a worthy opponent & private constructive support from bdubs, while etho makes public slivers of the private support & keeps somewhat covert the ripple effects of public image campaigning bdubs does. and bdubs says he makes videos with etho as his mind's-eye audience, and etho makes the potion machine or does the floor stuff at the charity event knowing bdubs will be the only one to read the hidden message. so who's it for, all this inversion.
like objectively etho is straight up mean a lot of times, bdubs just likes it. but he's also prone to like. when the end rod shaming starts he says how can i shame bdubs everything he touches turns to gold! and so he shames him on empty interiors, things he hasn't done. which is so shades of it's perfect you're etho and menacing the crastle but immediately cutting in i don't want bdubs to die as he leaves and so on. they both got so delicate with each other after s7 started and it makes me sick
etho trying to help grian not quit for real reminded me of the silksong seether
re: Avid + Marm, I won't be posting about the recent info. I'm not sure if anyone following this blog needs to read this but as someone who used to be very anxious regarding this kind of information about content creators: You're not obliged to say anything. You don't have to make statements. You are not beholden to checking and rechecking for updates or more information about what's going on. There is nothing so pressing that you must know it as it happens. And if you're saying something like "I knew it" then please examine why you felt the need to say that and also why you supposedly had a vague bad feeling about someone that does just amount to your internal biases.
back from dnd day we are actually fighting a dragon for once in the game that has dragons in its title. what's 5up gonna do. did I miss anything. oh yeah I was thinking about etho having a bad time during limited life again and how I should circle back around to making that post. okay love you all goodnight.
no more analysis on the game and social mechanics of my survival shows. now you just get aegyo and skinship clips.
nothing about the genius requires him to be doing this.
hyunmin might be the only one who plays the genius correctly
have you guys seen this. I was trying to find 5up voice Oh Asim but I fear it's been lost to time. anyway if you're ever sad just remember when 5up is so bad that everyone thinks he's an AI...
what is his problem. can he bring this to msmp so one of my mutuals can clip it.

[Tier list format that has been reappropriated for my means] mcyt as botc characters. Imp: Scott. [End of image]
bored. might do some interaction bait
It's not just that rigged games are hot because they act as kind of a concealed control mechanism. Your subject may think it's fair, or may know it's not, but either way it's a violation of politesse to point it out. To control the system is a very erotic kind of advantage. And then to tie other things to it. To take the conditional advantage and extend it further. If you win, I'll do whatever you want, but if I win, you have to do one thing for me. Or taking away permissions, limiting access, slowly rigging the game further. You can play with just your mouth, right? You don't need your hands. No, I won't move the pieces for you. It's quite something. But you do also have to consider that winning alone is really fun and kinda hot in a vacuum.
attempting to break down the core concepts of my particular interests that often feel related but not monolithic. the specter of survivor's tenets (outwit, outplay, outlast) looms over my attempt to distinguish from it.
something like Wolf Game (high stakes main, social strategy relevant) isn't the same as The Genius (brain games main, social strategy relevant, high stakes ymmv) isn't the same as BOTC (social strategy and brain game dominant, player dependant) but they all sort of exist in the same space in my mind. Things like Kaiji or Liar Game feel within the structure of something like The Genius but are predicated on their high stakes as necessity.
I'm dissatisfied with 'Social Strategy' as a vague term because the real meat of this is social deception, and its counterpart social deduction. It is necessary to me that this category cares about lying. It does feel important to include social strategy in regards to vote-outs and playing around other people rather than direct knockout via non-social skills, though. The social strategy involved in building an alliance is not the same as the deception involved in, say, a mafia game. So I still have work to do there.
*generalising to the point of uselessness* okay i fixed it for now.
