Minnesota high school senior accepted to all 8 Ivy League schools
A Minnesota high school student has achieved the rare honor of being accepted by all 8 Ivy League schools, plus more highly accredited colleges.
“I was very surprised,” Munira Khalif, senior at Mounds Park Academy, said. “The best part for me was being able to call family members on the phone and to hear their excitement. This was truly a blessing from God.”
The 8 Ivy League schools are Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Yale University. In addition, Khalif was accepted to Stanford, Georgetown, and the University of Minnesota. Source

Mashallah!
MASHALLAH
this is beautiful excellent news
yes! go out there and show them that their constant belittling and not so surreptitious discrimination of Islam, ethnic minorities and women will not stop us, but it will in fact motivate us to rise above the inherently oppressive system built to keep us down and enable us to create our own excellence from it. mashallah, Munira!
A calm + simple week. #filofax
Since I just started my studyblr I thought I might as well just post a lil snap of my working space!
Reblog this if you’re a Studyblr & I’ll follow you!
Looking for more study related blogs to follow. So reblog this and I’ll check your blog out and give you a follow!
{4/6/15} started with a roar on my annotating today :^) it was esp hard because we traveled 3 hours to a lil cabin to spend 3 days in (its spring break) and ive never been fond of reading+making marks on a bumpy road in a congested car! but its fine; i did about 17 pages out of 85 for wed. i'm really loving whap honestly; it gives me such a clear view of the world. this review book is organized beautifully as well. i also need to start on reading julius caesar, but tomorrow's another day!!
Heading out to starbucks, hopefully to get stuff done

hi. :^) i’m currently a sophomore in high school (class of ‘17!) i discovered the world of studyblrs a week or so ago accidentally, and i became enchanted. ive never been much of a motivated person, but ive also never been the worst. so far, i’ve maintained above a 3.6 GPA; but recently ive been feeling underaccomplished. usually i’m not competitive but i want to better myself. i want to go to bed not worried about thw homework that i’ll have to copy 5 minutes before class. i want to be prepared, organized, and always do my best. to have a pure mind in the studious viewpoint. it’ll take time and dedication, but i need to remember to tell myself every time i finish an assignment (on time, preferably comfortably before it is due) this will all be worth it. no backing down. let’s go.
