summary: You had been eyeing the intelligent scholar for a few months before she took mercy upon you and asked you out. Both of you agreed to take things slow, especially with exam season around the corner. You two booked a nice getaway to Fontaine the moment you were finished with your last round of exams, excited to enjoy each other’s company without looming due dates. Imagine your surprise when you two arrived at the extravagant hotel in Fontaine, and they informed you both that the room you booked only had one bed, not two.

a/n: I was genuinely so hyped to write for this request! I love lisaaas!!
Exam season at the Akademiya was no easy thing to survive. Of course, professors still assigned the regular workload, everyone was expected to carry on their personal research, and start preparing for exams on top of all these things.
Needless to say, you couldn’t have picked a worse time to start dating Lisa. You two had known each other for awhile, having been in a few classes together.
You both had a flirting back and forth kind of dynamic, waiting to see who would give in and ask the other out first.
You won when she asked you on a date a week before exam season started. You two went out for a nice cup of coffee and had a peaceful chat that lasted from afternoon to sundown. It was the best afternoon you had experienced in a long time.
Of course, the chaos of the busier time in the Akademiya got in the way of you both going in more leisure focused dates.
Instead you both opted to sitting together on a sofa in the library as you both took notes from informational texts. Both of your shoulders pressed against each other, legs touching, and the smell of her perfume making your head spin from adoration.
There had been one time you had fallen asleep while reading a particularly boring text. Waking up to your head on her lap and her looking down at you with a warm smile. She hadn’t moved an inch, figuring you needed the sleep, and comforting company.
For all the study dates you two had shared, you had yet to kiss her yet, or even stay over at her place. The stress of important exams really had a way of eliminating the want to do anything more than soak up each others’ comforting company.
Exam season was over now though, and Lisa had been admiring a few brochures that depicted pictures of the beautiful beaches in Fontaine. So naturally, you surprised her with a trip for the both of you.
“What a lovely surprise!” Lisa cheered when you gave her the news
She leaned in and placed an excited peck on your cheek. Hovering next to your face, her breathe tickled your ear as she spoke.
“You’re always so thoughtful, it’s cute.” She spoke softly before pulling back, giving you a flirtatious smile.
Your face felt like it was on fire, goosebumps still tingling on your cheek where she had kissed you.
“Ah, it’s nothing, really,” You humbly spoke, “we deserved a nice getaway after all the chaos.”
“That we do.” She agreed, taking your hand in hers.
She walked you home that night after you two had finished strolling in the market. Your stomach churned with nerves the whole way to your place, feeling an odd build up of anticipation. The back of your mind whizzing with the possibility of her giving you a kiss farewell when dropping you off at your door. Possibly even coming into your home with you and going even further.
When you both stopped at your front door, she turned to you with a smile.
“I love your door knocker, you have such good taste.” She complimented you
You smiled back at her as you unlocked the door.
“Well, if you like it, that means you have great taste as well.” You told her with smirk, opening your door.
She bid you farewell with a wave before walking off, perfectly poised on the fancy heels she always wore.

Fontaine was truly a beautiful nation. After a long journey, you and Lisa arrived in the gilded and glorious Court of Fontaine.
You both marveled at the tall buildings and intricate architecture. The sun glinted off of the gold accents on the sky high buildings making them look ethereal.
“They’re are almost as beautiful as you.” She commented, tapping your nose lightly with her finger.
You laughed, and enjoyed the feeling of walking through the busy streets with Lisa’s hand in your’s.
You both made your way to the hostelry you were staying in. It was near a row of shops that sold ritzy clothing and gourmet food. You noted Lisa eyeing a display of intricately decorated pastries and filed away the hours listed on the bakery’s window.
Walking into the building you both would be staying in, you allowed for a professionally dressed person to take the luggage you both had carted around. The person stood patiently, waiting for you to be informed of your room number.
The man at the desk was kind and excited to hear two Akademiya students were traveling all this way to see the sights of Fontaine. He took the bag of mora from you that had been promised upon writing to the establishment about the reservation. In exchange, he gave you an ornate metal key on a device that could attach onto one’s keying.
Walking with Lisa and the employee carrying your bags, you all stepped into the lift. It was an invention you had only read about in books on Fontaine’s cutting-edge technology. It was truly a marvelous invention, arriving shortly at the floor that correlated with the button you had pressed. The device emitted a pleasant ‘ding’ as the three of your exited.
The person carrying your luggage carefully sat it by the door marked with the same number as the one on your key. They informed you to notify the person at the front desk if either of you needed anything.
Opening the door, you and Lisa drug your luggage into the lavish space. You marveled at the intricate wall decorations and well made furniture. The window was framed by gorgeously embroidered curtains and it looked upon a stunning view of the city.
All of these details had delayed your realization of the singular large bed in the center of the room.
“Shoot, they must have given us the wrong key. Let me go back down the lift and speak with the man at the desk.” You spoke, a slightly concerned look on your face.
Lisa placed a comforting hand on your shoulder and gave you a reassuring smile.
“There’s no need, we’ve had such long travels, let’s just take this room.” She insisted lightly
“But….there’s only one bed….” You uttered the observation
She let out a joyous laugh, squeezing your shoulder lightly.
“Scared to sleep next to me?” She asked teasingly
“No no….not at all….” You insisted, reassuring her
You definitely weren’t scared to sleep next to the woman you had been dating for now two months. In fact, you were exhilarated by the idea of it. That exhilaration came with it’s affects though. Your stomach felt like it had been tied in an impossible-to-untie knot of nerves. It was a positive kind of nervousness at the unknown future and what could transpire between the two of you.
“Why don’t we get changed and head to the beach? The sun will be setting in a few hours and I’ve heard it can be quite a beautiful sight to witness on the beach.” She encouraged you, snapping you out of your muddled thoughts
“Yeah, that sounds really nice.” You replied with a genuine grin.

Fontaine’s shores were among the most magical sights in Teyvat. They had perfectly cream colored sand that felt peaceful to walk upon with bare feet. Not to mention the gorgeous seashells that littered the shoreline, all different designs created by the natural world.
You and Lisa stood in shallow water that barely reached your ankles, both in loose fitting and easily breathable clothing.
You both were supposed to be looking for seashells but you couldn’t stop looking at her. She had changed into a long white dress that hung loosely on her form, it had a gorgeous neckline and short bell sleeves.
“Hey, eyes on the sand cutie.” Lisa teased, placing another seashell into the basket you held.
“Sorry, sorry.” You humbly apologized, even though you knew your eyes would continue to wander to her.
You dug around in the sand for awhile, attempting to find the perfect seashell for Lisa. You saw the glint of a gorgeous opalescent one buried in the sand and got excited.
“Lisa, look at this one!” You exclaimed, yanking the shell out of the sand
When you pulled the shell out excitedly, wet sand flew out in a few clumps onto the skirts of Lisa’s dress.
Your eyes widened in fear over what you had just done.
She laughed lightly at you, holding the gorgeous shell looking terrified she was going to strike you for dirtying her dress.
“Don’t look so scared darling.” She cooed, moving closer to you.
“Besides….I can always….” She started to say with a mischievous smirk.
With lightning speed she bent down and grabbed a handful of wet sand, rubbing it loosely over your upper arm.
“…get payback!” She finished her previous statement with a triumphant smile
Your face bloomed into a wide grim
“Well if that’s how you wanna play it.” You said, grabbing a bit of wet sand and smearing it on her neck.
You two chased each other on the beach smearing clumps of wet sand on one another. If someone would have told you that they did this activity with their partner before this moment, you would have cringed at the thought. But there was something about the feeling of Lisa’s hands quickly caressing the back of your neck or your calf that made you enjoy the game.
She came up to you and hastily applied a healthy amount of wet sand to your cheek, careful not to get it into your eye.
You had grabbed her arm to try and stop her.
“No, no, not my face!” You had jokingly insisted
You had apparently grabbed her wrist quite tightly, because she lost her balance, her body falling forward.
At that same moment, a wave of water swished beneath your feet, causing the sand to shift beneath you and you to loose your footing.
Your head hit the wet sand, your hair becoming wet in the shaklow level of water. You felt Lisa’s weight on top of you, her body pressed against your’s.
You looked at her with wide eyes from the sudden event. The collar of her dress having smeared sand covering it, and a few splotches of it on her otherwise perfect face.
“If you wanted me on top of you, you could have just told me cutie.” She teased, leaning down to kiss your cheek.
You hadn’t wanted her to get sand on her lips, so you attempted to move your face so she would kiss the cheek that didn’t have sand on it. This only ended in her lips accidentally meeting your’s.
It felt like electricity coursed through you at the sudden contact. You leaned into the kiss, letting it turn from an accident to a purposeful gesture of affection.
When she pulled back, you stared at her shimmering green eyes. There was a small smile on her face, her cheeks slightly flushed.
“I hope I didn’t-“ She started to say sincerely, before you cut her off with another kiss.
She froze for a moment in surprise, then embraced the romantic gesture.
You pulled away and smiled up at her.
“I always knew you’d be a passionate kisser.” Lisa teased with a smirk.
“And I never knew you’d end up on top of me while covered in sand.” You joked
-
You both had went back to the room to clean up before getting dinner. She insisted you both go to a nice restaurant that one of her classmates had recommended from their travels in Fontaine.
The meal was the epitome of a romantic one. Your faces were both lit by candlelight despite Fontaine’s inventive strides in creating lamps. The food was warm and filling, clearly made by expert hands.
As you both talked, Lisa’s eyes stayed fixed intently on your face, admiring you. She would occasionally twirl a strand of her brown hair that sat elegantly on her shoulder. The sound of a piano being played by a phenomenal musician in the background heavily enhanced the mood of the evening.
You both had enjoyed a few glasses of imported Dandelion Wine from Mondstadt. The flavor was rich and it complimented the food well. By the time you two left the restaurant you were both tipsy from the drink.
Preparing for bed had you more nervous than you had ever been. As you bathed in the bathroom attached to the room, your mind wasn’t able to appreciate the modern plumbing systems Fontaine had built. It was focused on the fact you’d be sleeping in the same bed as Lisa.
You knew two people could sleep in the same bed and nothing could happen. You also knew that was an extremely rare occurrence for two people who were dating. Why you were so nervous? You honestly did not know. You liked Lisa, you had enjoyed kissing her, would it really be bad if the night lead into something more?
You tabled the train of thought, your brain exhausted from the days events.
Now in your nightclothes, you climbed into the bed next to Lisa. She had brought a book with her and was peacefully sitting against the headboard, reading with a focused look to her.
“You didn’t get enough of books at the Akademiya?” You joked, nudging her playfully with your shoulder.
“These kinds of books are hardly the kind we study during exams.” She responded with a light chuckle
“Why so?” You questioned, sitting up beside her, your shoulders touching.
“It’s more….fantastical tales than helpful information.” She answered
“Care to share about these fantastical tales?” You asked eagerly.
She spoke to you about her book in great length, running one of her hands through your hair. You felt your whole body relax at the comforting feeling of her fingers in your hair.
It wasn’t long before you were asleep against Lisa’s shoulder, and she was smiling down adoringly at you.
She moved you down to lay on the pillow so your neck wouldn’t hurt in the morning. As you slept soundly, she found it harder and harder to focus on what she was reading. She kept sneaking glances down at your relaxed face, admiring your features.
-
The golden glow of morning light hit your closed eyes, gently encouraging them to open. You breathed in a familiar scent, one that belonged to Lisa’s shampoo.
You were surprised at how well you were able to smell it though, normally you only caught moments of it as she passed you by. Slowly peeling your eyes open, you saw the position you were in.
Her arm was draped over your waist, pulling you closer in her sleep. She rested beside you, her brown hair tousled sleep and the edges of it tickling your cheek.
You let your eyes close again, determining to sink back into this moment. A slow morning before a day of adventure with your girlfriend was your greatest wish, now granted.

summary: You loved being roommates with Venti! Despite his reputation, he was very respectful of your space and kept his disaster away from it. As well as quietly stumbling through the door when he was blackout drunk past midnight. Needless to say, you had absolutely fallen for the aspiring musician. It was a Friday night with nothing to do when Venti had suggested playing a drinking game with you. You had wanted to binge a few of your favorite cheesy rom-coms, so you were hesitant to agree. When Venti suggested the ideas in a combined state, you were thrilled. By the end of the night, you were both losers, confessing your love for each other while credits play and and two empty bottles of wine sit on the coffee table.

a/n: I actually love this song so much ! thanks for the request, it was super fun to write !! Definitely didn’t re-watch 10 Things I Hate About You, 13 Going on 30, and 27 Dresses after finishing this…..
The autumn air was crisp coming through your open apartment window. The faint sound of a scratching pen was the only noise in the shared living room. You sat, finishing off the last bit of work you promised yourself you’d complete today. The rest of your neverending homework, essay writing, and exam studying could wait until tomorrow. This evening, you were going to do something for yourself, something that didn’t take any brain power.
During a short respite from studying the other day, you had spent some time scrolling through social media. A post came across your screen titled ‘Great Movies I Bet You Forgot About’. The poster had indeed been correct, the list contained quite a few movies you had enjoyed, or enjoyed making fun of, when you watched them. It was in that moment you decided you’d be dedicating your Friday night to watching a couple silly movies to take your mind off of the stressors your classes continued to bring.
Putting away your notebook and laptop, you tidied your desk up. Looking over at your roommate's desk that sat beside your’s, you couldn’t help the warm smile hat crossed your face. His was hopelessly disorganized with papers of many different origins scattered across the surface, a few empty bottles of wine balancing on top of each other defying gravity itself, and a container holding spare strings for various instruments. You needed to remind him to clean off his desk, then of course pester him until he actually did it. While you would have been happy to tidy the space for him, you knew what you saw to be chaos your roommate considered his unique form of organization.
You went to change into comfier clothes for the evening, moving about in your small room. It was nice that you and Venti got rooms to yourselves, even if they were barely large enough to fit your bed and a nightstand. You had been amazed at how your musician of a roommate had fit his collection of instruments into his room. Granted, he had lofted his bed, insisting he didn’t mind the height.
“What happens when you’re drunk off your ass and you can’t climb up to your bed?” You had asked him with a critical look
“I’ll just come climb in your bed, silly!” He had responded with a cheeky smile
“Be prepared to be kicked out.” You informed him with a small laugh, “I’m not above banishing you to the couch.”
He gave you a dramatic gasp, putting a hand to his heart in feign offense.
“You would banish your beloved roommate to sleep on our sad couch cushions?”
“Hey, that couch came from a very wealthy family!” You countered
“I remember, I was there to help you carry it after they threw it out on their front lawn.” He replied with a grin
“Cleaning for rich people had its advantages.” You reminisced
“Hey! I’ll buy you all the nicest furniture….once I release my music, that is.” Venti promised you, a sincere look in his bright teal eyes.
The memory of the conversation made you smile as you donned pajamas. Though, the prolonged thought of your roommate did make you realize that he had yet to return home yet with the takeout he had promised you. Deciding to shoot him a simple ‘you still getting us dinner?’ message and leave it be.
Cozying up on the couch in the living room, you turned on the small Smart TV, a splurge you had made the previous summer with some saved up money from work. Flipping through various streaming services, you were having trouble picking the movie you wanted to start with. This rabbit hole of looking for old rom-coms had reminded you of those terribly predictable Christmas movies as well. While it was November, you did consider that it may be a bit too soon to start watching those.
You were startled out of your decision trance when your roommate Venti struggled to open the door, his arms filled with bags from various different places.
“You’ll never believe the sale they had on wine today at the grocers!” He exclaimed, setting all of the bags down in the kitchen.
“From the looks of it, you went to more places than just the grocery store.” You commented, getting up from your position on the couch.
“For starters, Dahlia promised to drive, and you know I’ll never turn down a free ride!” He explained
“Uh-huh, and Dahlia forced you to go on all of these other excursions?” You asked, an eyebrow raised
“Well…..” He tried to find an explanation.
You took a few bags from his hands, your fingers brushing against his calloused ones. You felt a jolt of electricity go through you but now wasn’t the time to address it.
“I’m never letting you out again.” You jokingly complained, “did you at least get dinner?”
“Ehe, funny you should mention that….” He responded nervously
“You forgot to get dinner,” You said, a deadpan look on your face
“I indeed forgot,” he admitted apologetically.
“But! Do not fear! I will go back out and get takeout for us!” He declared dramatically, as if he was announcing something monumental.
“Are you actually going to bring back dinner this time?” You teased, a warm smile on your face.
“I couldn’t possibly leave my dearest roommate hungry.” He promised with a cheery wink.
Your brain kept replaying the wink over and over again in your mind. Venti had this signature grin that made the metaphorical butterflies in your stomach go crazy.
“I’m going with you this time, to ensure no side quests.” You informed him
Spinning on your heel, you went to your room to throw on a cost over your pajamas and a pair of shoes. Shoving your keys and wallet into the coat’s large pockets, you exited your room.
Venti opened the apartment door for you allowing you to walk past him. Watching him lock the door, you contemplated how a musician who could be so nimble with his fingers when playing his instruments, yet fumble with locking a door.
“It’s the lock, I swear! This thing is ancient.” He insisted, struggling to turn the key.
You bent down next to him, your shoulders pressed against his as you moved your hand to help him. Your hands touched for a moment as you helped him with turning the key, and the familiar electric shock was sent through you.
With a satisfying click of the lock, Venti turned to face you, both of you still close.
“I can’t imagine what I’d do without you.” He confessed warmly
Up close, his teal eyes seemed to shimmer even in the sad apartment hallway lighting. You swore his eyes alone could light up a whole room with the joy they held. Not to mention their color was so unique, they always reminded you of gemstones.
“Are you wearing a new perfume?” He asked, breaking you out of your daze.
Then, you watched as your roommate leaned in to sniff the place where your neck and the collar of your jacket met. His nose brushed against the skin on your neck and it felt like you were being struck by lightning.
“Uhm…yeah…yeah it must have uh…lingered on the jacket…” You stuttered out.
“Well, it suits you!” He complimented, pulling away and making his way out of the hallway and toward his car, like nothing had happened.
You followed him, your pace admittedly slower than usual as you could still feel goosebumps where his nose had brushed against your neck. You wondered what his lips would feel like pressed against your neck?
Dismissing the thought as quickly as it came, you caught up to Venti.
Admittedly, his car confused you. It wasn’t that it was messy with the usual trash or instrument cases, it was that it was always messy with random clutter. Like today, you looked down to find his two usually trash-filled cup holders now emptied and replaced with not garbage.
One had an array of crayons and the other had small slips of paper.
“Are you….entertaining kindergarteners…?” You snorted, nodding down to the cup holders.
“No, no! One of my professors said they had started writing their creative thoughts down with crayons and it really helped ignite further inspiration.” He explained as he put the car into motion
“And you are going to write down industry changing lyrics…..in your moving automobile?” You asked skeptically
In truth, Venti didn’t need any new ideas. He already had loads of wonderful songs, if only he would just release them. He had gone viral more time than you could count off of videos taken from public open mic nights and karaoke at bars. He had even gotten an offer from a producer awhile back, which he had yet to follow up on.
“Hey, I always get the best ideas when stuck at red lights.” He insisted.
“Remind me to critique your driving more often.” You commented, thinking of Venti trying to scribble down ideas before a light turns green.
“My driving is perfectly fine! Need I remind you, I have never gotten a ticket!” He corrected you smugly, putting the car in park
“Have you never gotten a ticket or have you sweet-talked your way out of every ticket you were supposed to get?” You called over the car, closing your door after getting out.
“First, rude.” He addressed your previous statement, calling from over the car
“Second, you were supposed to wait for me to come open the door for you.” He pouted, meeting you at the front of the vehicle
“Since when are you so chivalrous?” You chuckled, shoving him playfully with your elbow
“Hehe….since I realized I forgot my wallet at home….” He confessed, going you an apologetic smile.
“Of course you did.” You grumbled, no real anger in your voice
You both made your way inside the familiar takeout spot. Placing your orders, you both stood to the side, waiting for the food to be prepared.
You noticed Venti deep in though, staring at you.
“Something up?” You asked
“The clouds….the stars…..” He began to list the things sarcastically
“Smartass.” You giggled, shoving him lightly
“I really like….” He started his statement cheerfully, the rest of it falling off.
You found yourself wanting him to finish the sentence and say he really liked you. That he wanted to date you, to tell people you were his partner and not just his roommate. You wanted to hold his hand in public and go on dates together. You wanted it so badly, more than you had realized
“..being your housing partner” He finished the statement with a small sincere smile.
In an ideal world, the word ‘housing’ would have been omitted from that statement. You didn’t have much time to mourn on it though because Venti was quick to steer the conversation.
“Wanna invite some people over tonight? Play a fun drinking game with our newly acquired wine?” He suggested excitedly
“I was planning on watching a movie or two tonight. I can watch on my laptop in my room though if you want to have people over.” You explained, offering to give up the shared living room space.
“Nonsense! I’ll watch with you! Besides, I think I remember some of our friends saying they were going to a party tonight anyways.” He answered you with a sincere look
“You don’t want to go to the party? I’m sure they’ll be playing a drinking game there.” You suggested, knowing he loved any party with alcohol
“And ignore the perfectly delicious wine I have at home? Absolutely not!” He insisted
“Well, you are more than welcome to join me in watching some form of romance or rom-com movie.” You told him
“Those movies are always so boring.” He complained
“I didn’t expect you to be a hater of the genre.” You replied surprised
“I don’t hate them, I just find them to be painfully predictable. Not to mention they always say the same lines just worded differently, no matter the plot. They are all just the same.” He continues on
“I think you just have the patience of a goldfish. Not to mention all you watch is musicals and fantasy animated media.” You critiqued him
“Because it is lively! It has spirit and creativity!” He insisted, his eyes sparkling with mirth
“Romance movies can be lively too!” You insisted, only half-heartedly though
You loved the genre, but it certainly had its collection 0 star movies and problematic films.
Before you both had the chance to continue on with your spirited debate, your order number was called.
Taking the food eagerly, you both rushed out to the car. You hadn’t eaten since a granola bar at 10 a.m. this morning and you didn’t want to know the last time Venti had a meal. Cheers to being busy and forgetful university students!
“What if we played a drinking game while watching the movie?” Venti asked on the way back to your shared apartment
“How do you expect to do that?” You asked, laughing a bit
“You pick a movie I haven’t seen before and I get to read the summary. I make a list of things I think will happen during the movie, then for every time something on my list happens, you drink.” He proposed, a proud smile on his face
“Alright…sounds fun enough…but what about you?” You asked
“I’ll drink every time I get one right too! In celebration of proving all romance movies are painfully predictable, of course.” He explained as if it was obvious
You rolled your eyes, but agreed. You weren’t against drinking some wine tonight and the idea of showing Venti a few of your favorite romances and rom-coms made your heart swell.
As you drove home, you listened to Venti hum along to the song playing on the radio. His voice was soft and perfectly on key, as always.
“You know, that could be you on the radio if you would contact that producer.” You interjected in a serious voice, continuing to nag your friend about the contact
“I will! Just need to prepare a few more solid songs to have.” He insisted, always seeming to have some excuse.
“When are you going to let me hear a few of your songs? I could give feedback y’know?” You offered your help for what felt like the billionth time
“No, no! I couldn’t ask you to do that.” He replied humbly
“But you aren’t asking, I’m offering.” You corrected him
“We’re here! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to go in and eat dinner.” He said as he parked the car, grabbing the bag of food out of your hand as he got out of the car.
You let him come around and open the door for you, giving him a thankful smile as you got out.
Walking back into your apartment, you went off into your room to hang up your coat, placing your wallet and keys on your nightstand.
Coming back out to the living room, you plopped down on the couch. Turning the tv back on and continuing your scroll to find decent looking romance movie you hadn’t seen.
Venti sat the bag of food, two glasses, and a bottle of wine on the table in front of you both.
You chose a movie at random, deciding it would be a fun surprise. Promising yourself you really would get around to watching your favorites some other time.,
With the cover of the movie and the summary displayed on the screen, Venti used to notepad and writing utensil already on the coffee table to write out his list of predictions for the movie.
It only took him a minute or two before he tore off the sheet of paper and handed it to you. You skimmed his list of predictions, some were direct quotations such as “from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one.”. Others were just vague events, like ‘protagonist or love interest has one or more dead parent’ or ‘protagonist is a self proclaimed “not like other girls” kind of person’. You snorted at the last one, he wasn’t wrong about the overwhelming “not like other girls” protagonists in romance movies. Even if the main character wasn’t a woman, they always had to be some version of overly quirky and different.
You both got your food out of the bag and poured your glasses of wine. You let Venti go change into his pajamas before starting the movie.
Once he was back, wearing an old band t-shirt and shorts, you started the film. You tried to focus in, to ensure you were ready in case you needed to take a drink of wine and cross something off his list of predictions. But, when your roommate had sat back down, he had sat closer to you than before. You could practically feel your shoulders touching and it made your heartbeat speed up a bit.
Within the first fifteen minutes of the film, you had already been forced to take two drinks out of your glass of wine. Venti had a proud smirk on his face as he took two celebratory sips as well, watching you cross out the respective predictions on his list.
His smirk made the metaphorical butterflies in your stomach start to act up again. You had the urge to just lean forward and kiss it right off of his face, but refrained for obvious reasons.
Two thirds of the way through the film, you found yourself halfway through your second glass. A handful of his predictions having been striked through and the familiar buzz of alcohol was starting to inhibit your brain.
You hadn’t noticed how he had begun to lean on you throughout the film. Despite the fact it felt like every other minute you were looking over at him as and his navy hair in twin braids. Admiring how the light of the screen reflected off of his soft face.
When the movie ended, all but a few things on his list had been crossed out, and the bottle of wine set empty in front of the both of you.
“Well that was fun! Wanna go for another round?” He proposed with a giggle
“Sure….I can pick another movie.” You agreed with a smile
You decided this time to pick a movie you were familiar with. It had occurred to you it didn’t matter whether you knew the film or not, since Venti was the one making the predictions. You just had to make sure you weren’t watching him make his list so your face didn’t give anything away.
Sure, you’d be able to read it over and know what happens and what doesn’t but you’d wait to cross things out and drink throughout the film.
Venti got up to grab another bottle of wine as you went to grab a blanket, feeling the relentless apartment AC starting to cause a chill.
Coming back to sit next to your roommate, you took the sheet of paper with the list and the writing utensil in your hand. Pressing play on one of your favorite films with a smile full of anticipation.
Watching a movie you liked with Venti was almost worse. Everytime a scene happened, you found yourself instinctively looking over at him to see if he was giving a positive reaction.
Of course, as this movie progressed you both drained your glasses of wine, your brain losing more and more of its agency.
“Hey, mind sharing that blanket of your’s? It’s chilly in here.” Venti questioned lightly
“You can get your own, I know you have plenty.” You laughed lightly, smiling at him
In truth, the idea of Venti leaning on you again made your heart beat out of your chest. Not to mention if you two were to share this blanket, he’d have to practically be pressed against your side for you both to fit under it.
“Oh c’mon, pleeeease….I don’t want to get up and go all the way to my room.” He begged you, his teal eyes boring into your own face.
You took note of how his voice was starting to show signs of his drinking. As well as how adorable he looked pleading for you to share the blanket.
“Fine.” You conceded against your better judgement.
That’s how you ended up snuggled with your roommate under a blanket, finishing one of your favorite romance films.
As before, the list of predictions made by Venti was nearly all crossed off. Both of your glasses finished and another empty bottle of wine sitting in front of you two.
“I told you, those movies are all just so predictable.” He teased you
You turned to face him, his face closer than you expected. It was already delightfully jarring enough that your sides were pressed together to properly share the blanket. Now his face was mere inches from your’s with the same impish smirk on it you often wished to kiss right off of his face.
Your brain was fuzzy from the wine, and all you could think about was how Venti’s lips would feel against your’s. How they would taste like the same wine you had just drank, how they would feel warm and soft.
You were snapped out of your trance as Venti reached over to the coffee table to grab his car keys. You watched him take the keys in his hand. When you looked back, his face was still very close to your’s.
“Will you date me?” He asked eagerly, his words slightly slurred from the alcohol.
Your eyes widened slightly from surprise at the proposal.
“Venti…you…you’re drunk…” You informed him with a crestfallen look to your face
You knew he wasn’t thinking clearly, the movies and wine must have gotten to his head. As much as you wanted his question to be from a place of truth. You longed for it be sincere, but it wasn’t, it couldn’t be.
“I’m not drunk, I’m in love with you.” He insisted, his teal eyes boring looking into your face
“Venti….you…” You failed to form a sentence from the shock you felt
He couldn’t be serious. Sure, you two had been friends for ages, roommates for a few years, but that didn’t mean anything. He couldn’t be in love with you, it had to be the alcohol talking.
He let out a frustrated sigh before getting up and walking into his room. You sank into the couch, feeling a mixture of emotions only amplified by your intoxicated state. Even drunk you still seemed to be so insecure that you brushed off your roommates advances as intoxication.
He emerged from his room, this time with new something in one of his hands.
He placed the mysterious item in your lap and before sitting beside you.
“I made it…awhile ago. I had been waiting for the right moment to tell you, to make a big grand gesture out of it. Once again, my beloved drink of choice has sabotaged my plans.” He explained to you in a soft voice
You picked up the creation he had gifted you. It was a bunch of paper hearts made out of sheet music, all chained together to make a nice decoration.
“The piece of music always made me think of you. I was going to play it for you on a nice piano.” He confessed, looking down and fidgeting with his car keys.
You reached out, gently cupping his chin, tilting his face to look at you.
“I thought….I thought it was just the alcohol because I couldn’t believe someone as creative and vibrant as yourself could like….me.” You told him sincerely
“Well sure, you can be a pain in the ass sometimes.” He teased you, leaning in close
“Oh shut up.” You countered, before closing the distance between you two.
You had imagined your first kiss with Venti many times. Never had you thought it would be in the middle of your living room after two bottles of wine.
You pulled away from him, looking down as he still held his car keys.
“Planning to run away after finally kissing me?” You jested, a smile on your face
“Ehe, no.” He sheepishly answered
“I had to have an escape plan in case you…well…..didn’t share my feelings.” He admitted
“You? Planning ahead? Who are you and what have you done with my roommate?” You teased him
He responded by leaning in again, his hands moving to cup your cheeks as he kissed you again. His lips, as you predicted, tasting strongly of wine.
Honestly the weirdest aspect of Mulder and Scully’s relationship is that they flirt harder the more disgusting or disturbing whatever they’re investigating is. Is there a corpse with a live frog inside? Let’s crack jokes and subtly imply how attracted to each other we are. What about a dead baby in a closet? Obviously that’s when we should have a barely coded conversation about Mulder’s dick, duh. Interrogating a sadistic murderer? Totally the appropriate time to eye-fuck each other over the interrogation table. Stuck in the woods being chased by mutated conquistadors? (God, this show is strange) Time to cuddle, joke about getting naked, and sing to each other. Could you be infected with a scary parasitic ice worm? Let’s feel each other’s necks up in the most erotic way possible under the guise of a medical exam. Truly no one is doing it like them and that’s probably a good thing
"oh, I love lohen but if he came towards me in real life, I would run!" [LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER]
If lohen came running at me I would stare at him for like a second before either falling to my knees on instinct or immediately running towards him. I don't need to be scared of him, HE needs to be scarf of ME.
says a lot about me that my first thought was that I’d let him keep running at me until he’s super close then step aside and discretely try and trip him 😭
gng I swear I love Lohen but if he was real my first instinct would be to humble his ass rq
At first I thought he’d be the kind of annoying player who always just wants to fight and do the most damage and doesn’t want to enjoy the game.
But then I remembered…….
Lohen loves a good scheme, a shenanigan if you will.
Bro is taking EVERY side quest possibly and dragging the party with him
A random brawl at the tavern between two drunk dudes? Yeah suddenly he’s joined in and now the party has two more sworn enemies.
Is banned from a plethora of kingdoms for trying to execute their ruler. He keeps insisting he simply got “bored” before he met the party.
As for the KIND of character he would play……I’d say either a barbarian, fighter, or monk. A paladin feels a bit too noble for him and I don’t think he’d enjoy being a rogue much either (despite the fact rogues are so cool I love you guys). He’s definitely playing whatever race fits best with the class that allows him to have the most movement and/or strength.
IS the type to have a super high modifier to his attack rolls
“Does a 27 hit?” He 100% asks the game master smugly, knowing he’s hitting a damn goblin an armor class of 12
Definitely is a little shit sometimes during combat and is like
“When are the enemies going to get hard to fight?”
Yeah the whole party is telling him to SHUT THE FUCK UP so they don’t have to take on an archlitch next session.
If people would be interested, I’d be happy to make him as a d&d character in case anyone ever wants to play him (I probably will use him as an NPC at some point tbh)
playing chess with albedo, lohen, or any other character you think would play. For every piece taken from your opponent, you either have to divulge a secret or take off a piece of clothing.

Two Sides of One Coin ::
summary: You were a dedicated worker, president of the college’s student senate, and overall strived for perfection. Lohen stayed locked away, uninvolved in anything that didn’t involve his studies in toxicology or events hosted by the university’s LARPing club. You were desperate for a roommate to secure a campus apartment and he was the only one available to room with you. You did a good job avoiding the guy you hated, that was until you two ended up in the same required Philosophy course. Even worse, you were both paired together for the semester-long project the class revolved around

summary; Everyone hears their soulmates thoughts, and you seem to hear the thoughts of yours’ at the most odd times. To be truthful, you find his thoughts annoying and overly violent, dreading the day you would eventually meet him. Working as Mondstadt’s best doctor kept you too busy to worry about finding your soulmate and it seemed Celestia knew that. She made sure to throw him on your doorstep every other day with a new wound for you to heal.

[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: You hated the Vice Captain of the Fifth Company. He was impulsive, battle hungry, and always so annoyingly flirtatious. When Varka told you that you would be accompanying Lohen on his mission, you wanted to run all the way back to Mondstadt. To take out a crew of Fatui members kidnapping citizens of Nod Krai to use in Dottore's experiments, that was the mission. You weren’t expecting to uncover a dark secret about the Lohen or for him to comfort you in a time of need. Maybe you could afford to hate the Vice Captain a little less?

[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: In a world where soulmates exist, you found it rather unfair that you didn’t get to fully experience seeing anything in full color until you had bonded with your’s. Mondstadt was a beautiful place that you had recently moved to, securing a job with Knights of Favnonius. Beginning to work for the knights, you knew of VIce Captain Lohen's reputation from the warnings elder knights had given you. He was maniacal, a truly sadistic soul, and many questioned his integrity as a VIce Captain. So, when you were given the task to deliver a few parcels to him in Dorman Port, you promised yourself no matter what charms he used on you, that you would hold your disliking of him. However, you weren’t prepared for your vision to shift from solely black and white to muted colors upon seeing him. Great, the supposedly masochistic, battle hungry, and overall just creepy Vice Captain was your soulmate.

Either both of your acting skills kept improving significantly or the feelings were getting real.

While they were surprised, and a bit upset that you didn’t tell them the news of your new beau earlier, they excitedly agreed. Desperate for a fake boyfriend, you turned to your best male friend, Childe. It seemed a fake date was all you two needed to realize your feelings for each other, even if those feelings came with complications on your part.

✧ Venti
[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: Your friend and roommate of three years, Venti, was everything your past dates were not. He was caring, thoughtful, talented, loyal, and most importantly, he liked you for who you were. After many a time crying in his arms over another break up or cheating scandal, one might think you would realise that he was the one for you. Well, you didn’t, not until he came home so drunk he couldn’t walk, and his voice so full of yearning when he confessed to you.

More Than Just Roommates ::
summary: You loved being roommates with Venti! By the end of the night, you were both losers, confessing your love for each other while credits play and two empty bottles of wine sat on the coffee table.

✧ Wanderer
[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: It was your final semester at the Akademiya and you thought it was going to be smooth sailing revising your thesis. The first bump in that plan was getting the most arrogant and heartless Vahumana scholar that had ever existed. You could make do though, you wouldn’t have to see him if you just stayed out of the common area in your shared dorm. That plan also crumbled to bits when your thesis was assigned to be critiqued and questioned by a certain navy-haired anemo vision user. To make matters worse, you had to critique and question his pretentious writing. So much for never seeing your least favorite person in the Akademiya.

Keys That Unlock A Heart ::
summary: Hired as an entertainer for when the king and queen needed background music for their dinners or garden escapades, you were nothing more than a lowly servant that had a knack for the piano. You had recently began practicing in a hidden room you had found that housed a rather nice piano. Unaware of the fact that this is where the famously temperamental and brutal prince came to be vulnerable and let his shield down. What happens when he finds you in his safe haven playing a lovely ballad that calms his nerves better than any breathing exercise could?

✧ Kaeya
[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: A grand celebration was amongst Mondstadt! After all, the Grandmaster was returning with his crew from the long expedition in Nod Krai. Knights would be drinking Teyvat-only-knows how many glasses of wine, cheering due to the safe arrival of their comrades. Kaeya was particularly drunk that night, leaving you in trouble. The Calvary Captain knew you fancied him, and he’d admit he had grown smitten for you too. But what fun was it to simply tell you his feelings when he could tease you about your’s? That is, until he’s got more wine than water in his body and he ends up spilling the beans to you about the love he had for his partner in crime.

As the hours went by of you analyzing his perfectly sculpted face and listening to him tell stories of shows and elaborate tricks, you felt yourself becoming won over by his charms

✧ Navia
[TITLE TBD] ::
summary: WIth your parents being the rich enlists they were, you had grown up hating the Spina di Rosula and their pointless need to help the poorer citizens of Fontaine. When Navia, the new president of the Spina di Rosula came into a bakery you managed, you found yourself turning your nose up at the likes of her. She did the same, of course she had heard of the many businesses your parents owned and their hatred for anyone that wasn’t like them. You both had a lot of pent up feelings and the glass jars they were held in shattered when you two shared the last crepe after the bakery had closed.
helloo can i ask for lohen x siren!reader? the reader is also affiliated with the fatui but they mostly just do their own typical stuff, they lure and kill like it's natural and normal. oh and what if they're also a being with power similar to the abyss? since the abyss can shapeshift, they can do the same and more accurately. like typical siren, they have the power to hypnotize and make their victims see things. oh my god i have so much idea for lohen x reader but idk how to execute them 💔💔

–♬ Mid Leap by Googly Eyes ♬–
You had come to work for the Fatui at a very low point in your life. Your family had been slaughtered in the crossfire of a squabble between a few Mondstadt knights and the Wild Hunt. To you, both parties were equally responsible for the death of your loved ones, no matter their morals or intentions, the abyssal monsters were the same to you a the honor-clad Mondstadters.
Before long, you found yourself working for the Fatui in desperate hopes you may get to decimate hoards of Wild Hunt and possibly a few Knights of Favonius. You had attempted too hide your vengeance hungry motives upon meeting Her Majesty the Tsaritsa but you had a feeling she saw deeper into your heart than you liked.
You had first been assigned to The Marinette to help guard her experimental facility in Nod Krai. The short tempered Harbinger didn't care much for your methods of ensuring enemies were taken care of, so you were quickly re-assigned. For the seventh Fatui Harbinger preferred more direct and technologically advanced forms of attack and defense.
As the years passed, you were tossed around like a hot potato amongst the Fatui higher ups. Some of them enjoyed your ways of attack but felt threatened you would overtake them with your methods in a moment of weakness. Others, like Sandrone and Dottore, just simply found your methods to be annoyingly slow and too different from the way they did things. Which, is how you ended up all alone guarding the top-secret research facility on some remote shoreline of Nod Krai.
It was honestly a fine job to have. Due to its remote location, you didn’t have many enemies cross your path. When you did however, they always fell for your illusory powers, minds numbed by the enchanting power of your voice that echoed off of the shoreside cliffs.
Almost as if you were taken straight from the page of a fantastical Yae Publishing House novel and put into this world, your abilities were quite unconventional. Before joining the Fatui, you had been a very avid performer. Using your vision to create wondrous illusions and aiding in your harmless slight of hand tricks. Combined with a voice you had always been told was so powerfully soothing, you made a great asset in your family’s traveling theatre’s shows’.
Upon working with the Fatui, you had learned to manipulate the light around your body to make you appear as someone or something else entirely. You had practiced honing this skill in hopes of one day enjoying the intelligence gathering sector of the Fatui. The ability was powerful, but it had a mind of its own. Oftentimes, when you tried to wield the illusory power in the presence of another, you ended up manifesting as what they most desire, rather than what you wanted to look like.
Obviously this disqualified you from going into intelligence gathering since you didn’t have control over who or what you could disguise yourself to be. The Tsaritsa was the one who proposed you use it as a defense mechanism, a way of taking out intruders. You were hesitant at the idea at first, not knowing if just appearing as someone’s deepest desire would stop them from plowing through you like any other defense mechanism.
That’s when she suggested you calm their mind with your voice, having been informed of your talents from the information you offered the Fatui from the past. Once they were calmed enough, growing ever closer to you and saw the thing they most desired, they would be completely vulnerable. Which would allow you to easily strike, taking enemies out without issue.
So this is what you did. You watched for ships unmarked by the Fatui crest that neared the shoreline, ensuring their path was set to the facility and were not simply sailors passing by. Once that was determined, you began to sing whatever enchanting melody you felt most fond of that day, letting your voice ricochet off of the cliffside rocks and out into the open sky. If the ship continued its pursuit, which it almost always did upon the sound of your voice, the light around you would form the illusion of the crew’s greatest desires. A true feat of divination gifted upon you by the Electro archon it was.
Oftentimes you became the crew members’ beloved partners’ or a manifestation of what they find most alluring in a person. You had found many people’s inner desires were ones of love, lust, or both. Occasionally you would become someone’s guardian figure or mentor, oftentimes upon seeing you the person would be overtaken with grief or sadness, so you assumed another deep desire some had were related to loved ones that died too soon. Those people always made your conscious churn with guilt, killing them was by far the hardest.
It was on a particularly rainy day when you spotted a small boat marked by a crest that wasn’t the Fatui’s, but rather the Knights of Favonius'. You knew you should wait to see if this knight was simply sailing to a different location or really approaching your shoreline. However, your bitterness got the better of ou, and you began to sing a soothing ballad of intense battles well won.
As the boat moved closer, you wielded your vision to do its job and your instincts to seek out this knight’s greatest desire. You didn’t see the normal faint glow happen all over your body like normal when the light bent to your will. Instead, it only did so around your hands, making you move to the water to inspect your reflection.
In your hands was a sword, no, a spear, wait, it was claymore, the weapon in your hands kept changing. You felt most comfortable wielding a sword and once that fact surfaced in your brain, the image stilted to you holding a well-crafted sword.
The boat was less than 200 feet from you now but you continued singing, a bit confused as to why you hadn’t been completely transformed yet, despite your spectral weapon. That, if challenged in an actual fight, would be quite useless considering its trick-of-the-light origin.
“A lovely stranger waiting with their blade drawn? Today’s my lucky day!” The knight called in a giddy voice as his boat stopped on the shoreline.
You laughed a little, taking in the first clear sight of the individual. You had to admit he was the perfect picture of chivalry with his knight regalia framing his figure quite nicely. All of his accessories were smartly placed, down to the earring dangling in his left ear. His muted turquoise hair framed his charming face. He had bangs that fell around his uniquely colored eyes. You felt yourself spend a second too long analyzing the gradient of light teal to whine red around his pupil.
You had stopped singing, now just waiting for him to approach you, hoping your illusory ability had taken its effect and too scared to look down at yourself to check.
“Well, are you going to fight me? Or are you just going to stand there and let me have all the fun?” He questioned with an excited smile as he drew his spear.
You felt your eyes widen with alertness, this knight seemed eager to actually fight you, as if that was his deepest desire. You didn’t have time to dissect this and you knew the spectral sword the light was forming wouldn’t help you in a real battle. You willed your power to stop and drew your sword.
“You are quite a strange one, Knight of Favonius.” You told him, saying the title with a prominent disdain in your voice.
He took an eager stab at you with his spar, nicking your shoulder slightly. Letting out a joyful laugh, he spoke again in his arrogant voice;
“I get that a lot. Though, not usually from stunning strangers before a fight.” He compliments effortlessly, trying to give another stab but this time blocked by your sword.
You let yourself engage in combat with this mysterious and battle-hungry knight. You just wanted him dead at this point. Every time he spoke or gave you a stupidly charming smir, you felt your heartbeat quicken and your focus falter.
As you slashed at him with your sword and perried his stabs, you noticed yourself growing more and more comfortable with the way he fought, Your heart was still racing and your stomach churned with an odd feeling of attraction, but you continued. Eventually disarming him, you smiled as his spear skittered away across the sand.
You shoved him into the rock structure near the water, forcing his back hard against it as you held your sword to his throat.
“Any last words before I slit your throat? Want to pledge your last knightly loyalties?” You spat at him, high levels of disdain in your eyes.
“It’s an honor to die at the hands of such a skilled warrior. Not to mention one I could stare at for ages.” He told you with a blissful grin on his face.
You felt yourself falter for a second. His captivating eyes were filled with such adoration when looking at you and the sword you held to his neck. What in Teyvat happened to this person that caused him to be so thoroughly fucked up in the head?
You should have slid your sword right through his neck the second he finished speaking. Your lack of action caused you a loss of advantage. His stabbed his liquid coated dagger into your gut, causing you to reel in pain.
“May the wrath of her majesty the Tsaritsa fall upon you, knight.” You cursed through gritted teeth.
“Please, keep talking.” He encouraged you, ”I like the way you sound when threatening me.”
You groaned in pain at the feeling in your gut and of exasperation.
“Do you like the way you will bring me to a slow and painful death?” You questioned with an icy glare.
“Death? Oh no, that dagger is coated with a healing potion. Your wound will be healed in a few days.” He explained
“Whatever is wrong with you?” You prodded
“Everything, and by the way your breath hitched when I complimented you earlier, I can assume you like whatever is wrong with me.” He countered
You were so weak from the pain the wound was causing, cowering in the sand. You felt the Knights gloved hands come from behind to pick you up. You thrashed about in resistance.
“Unhand me!” You commanded him with vigor
“Ahahaha, calm down. I’m just trying to help you to a more comfortable place.” He assured you, continuing to hold you and drag you closer to his boat.
Despite your physical protests, the knight had you tied up on the inside of his boat in no time, of course in the appropriate position for your wound to heal. How nice, you got stuck with a thoughtful kidnapper.
“Do you normally tie your partners up on the first date?” You jest, your voice still bitter.
“Are you saying this was a date?” He asks eagerly
“Hardly.” You reply
“We are going to have so much fun together.” He laughed cheerily
“I don’t think we will.” You corrected him
“And if you so much as try anything I’ll take the stupid spear of your’s and stab it straight through your—“ Your voice raised in anger during the threat, the knight cut you off light-heartedly
“Wow, wow, wow, I would never do something so vile. I enjoy torturing Wild Hunt and Hillichurls, not strangers who make my heart race.” He clarified.
“Where are you taking me?” You asked with question like a command
“Somewhere the Fatui won’t find you, no matter how hard they look.” He gave the vague answer with a knowing grin
“So the Knight of Favonius now concern themselves with kidnapping Fatui members?” You ask
“Only ones with interesting powers that could be a real asset to us.” He answered
“I’d rather die than work for you.” You spat
“We can have arranged if you like.” He offered with the most polite smile.
“But my methods of killing are a lot more……unconventional…” He added with a wicked smile.
You didn’t know what your future held but you knew this knight didn’t seem to be getting out of it anytime soon.
