Aphelios: Hello.
Me: MMMM..
{ Could I get a reblog so I can follow new people? Everyone that I follow except for a spare few is inactive. Iâd like to RP with new muses! }

âYou're quite the spectacle. I'm going to assume youre not an ordinary human are you?â
Talon grimaced, resisting the urge to pull his scarf up to hide his scale-freckled face. âMaybe.. who wants to know?â
âJust a curious bystander that's all. No need to hide your scales, they are quite marvelous.â he smirked at the man. âCurious to see someone travel around alone at such a time. The cold doesn't bother you?â

âSo you're the little worm my brother has been talking about. I was expecting something more... Disappointing.â golden claws tapped at the side of his own cheek as he stared at the man from toe to the top of his hat.
âTo what do I owe this pleasure?â
âNo, just depends on how many humans we decide to eat. My brothers prefer a monstrous look while I prefer a practical reasonable human-sized body. Because I fairly enjoy living in a house instead of suffering the cold outside.â his palm papped his chest. âThis is the flesh of a couple of prior hosts, they're so kind to finally give me this body. It's been such a drag to be the third wheel. By giving I mean they finally died off. Which I am ecstatic about.â
âAh. So another people-eater. I respect that and all, but. Look, my man, if youâre here looking for food, Iâm sorry to say this, but my wellâs run dry. I have enough hungry demons and monstrous amalgamations of darkness to attest to. Iâm only one man. Find another circus.â Â
âUnlike my brothers, I am happy to partake in human food as well. The human eating only happens when I'm feeling particularly parched.â

âWell arenât you just a ray of starshine. You could at least give me some context before you start heckling me, bub. Whoâs your brother? Did I ruin his life or something? You look like youâre ready to throw down at any second so that would be my best guess.â Â
âAatrox. My very large brother, he's a sweetheart, isn't he? Judging by your expression you've met him more than once.â he grinned, rows of sharp teeth showing in his large smile.
âI don't blame you though, he was one for tough love. Although Iâm fairly sure he doesn't love humans as much as I do.â

The man had tilted his head as he stared at the Shuriman, confusion visibly on his face. Nevertheless, it was nothing more than a mere visage in hopes that the other didnât quite know he was a Darkin. An attempt to avoid his past, he hated how gaudy their forms had looked. Why would he want to look like an animal when he could clearly be something much more presentable?
âMay I help you?â He finally said as he had caught eyes with the curious dog.Â
It was curious, that tracking the Darkin trail let him here. He could smell it, the intense smell of Darkin magic. Thick and heavy, like smoke and the miasma of warâŚ
âPerhaps,â he said, tilting his head. âDo you know this area well?â
He was almost certain the man in front of him was the source of the Darkin magic, but he didnât have to show his hand yet. He had every intention to bide him time, learning what he could about the man before him.
And it if came down to it, he was more than ready to fight him as well.
âI certainly wouldnât be wandering out here if I knew exactly where I was now would I?â He says, eyes narrowing at the ascended.
He grew a bit wary that the other was curious of hi. As much as he had wanted to wander back home the darkin didnât want to see a ascended. Certainly not one so close to him.
âI was told that if I followed the edge of the mountains, I would find refuge. Perhaps I was given wrong information. Unless of course, my source meant you.â
His brow raises as his head tilts upwards to look at the much larger Darkin.
A scent enlightened his senses, a darkin. He catched the scent, tasting it on his tongue soon realizing it was almost a new fragrance, a new entity, perhaps, it was strong and fresh just as Varus; Nonetheless, something was particularly different⌠No voice? Aatroxâs white pupils wandered around until he finally found the source of such strong presence.
The refined marksman, this time presenting himself with an embodiment completely submitted. â⌠Varus.â A faint smirk appeared on his pale features. âMay I help you?â Joy overwhelming his core, he succeeded.
Pupils dilated as his own crimson gaze fixated in the elder darkins returned stare. Pale lips pulling into a small returned smirk as he took a few approaching steps. âHelp, no, I donât quite think you can. I am just- thrilled, I suppose that is the word for it. To see you walking among us againâŚâ Although his appearance was that of a mere mortal, when his lips pulled back in a smile the larger Darkin was met with a toothy grin. Fangs lining the inside of his mouth. It was a wonder how exactly those teeth sat so perfectly in such a small area. âYou are certainly much bigger than what I remember.â Golden claws clasped behind his back as he spoke.Â
âIâve been lurking over devastated lands for so long without a course, yet with purpose. I barely canât tell the difference between the sun and the moon at this point since days are a mere whisper, Varus.âThe larger darkin kept his eyes fixing the visitor, studying his movements and facial expressions. Expressive. Human and somehow so distant of any trail of mortality. Burning eyes widered once those sharp row of teeth were bared, unquestionably, a meat consumer.
âYour essence is unlike others, I must admit.â Aatrox spoke back at the maleâs observation, his smirk widering, showing off his large teeth at him expecting Varus would be able to comprehend what the larger darkin was attempting to communicate. âSmall. Efficient, unperceivable, agile. Not my speciality, to be frank. I overflow in joy when they fear me, they run, they hide with the fainting hope of, possibly, living another day.â
âThe small form is just a little something I decided to keep. A little reminder, quite useful I must say. The humans tend to let their guard down a bit more when I approach. They also tend to realize far too late.â His head had tilted as he watched the larger move, despite his massive size the older Darkin seemed indifferent. Varus himself knew that despite how large he was, Aatrox himself was a skilled warrior. Even his size meant barely anything, it did nothing more but make him more deadly to those who were foolish enough to even try to attack. âI must admit, the human drive of self-preservation never ceases to amaze me. They do realize that a Darkin had no need for gold? Well, I took it anyway, but I wasnât very good at keeping promises.âÂ
âYou are surprisingly hard to find for something so large. When I heard the rumors I was expecting the entire content to be shaded by your shadow.âÂ

âTheir heads crack so easily when youâre having fun. Itâs almost boring.â
@voicecflight
The younger Darkins eyes turned up to the clouds as he watched the giant serpent of stars twist his gigantic body around. Although he would usually be shocked, he had grown accustomed to things much bigger than him in size. Aatrox was one to thank for that. His elder brother had towered over him in the battlefield before. But he had mentally prepared himself for whatever the dragon was going to say. Most likely it was going to be a remark of disgust. His eyes turned to the golden claws that adorned his fingers, pale lips turning into a sneer as he had felt the eyes of the starforger gaze down at him. âTo what do I owe this... blessing.â He says, voice dripping with venom towards the celestial.Â
