Slowly, slowly, approaching the idea of possibly updating my ancient website one day eventually.
Here’s another illustration I made for the Victoria Strong MFG Co.
A very reflective General Wolfe reciting his favourite poem: Elegy in a Country Churchyard
More work from our upcoming comic
‘We Spent Our Summers by the Sea’ - In the early 1900s, rotting ships were often insured to the point of being worth more to their owners sunk than afloat. Unsuspecting crews were often lost at sea on deliberately overloaded vessels. I focused on the class divide between the owner's families and the men who went down with their ships. For more about ‘coffin ships’ read here.
This piece will be at the Lionheart Framing 1 year Anniversary show tonight. Come by and check it out if you’re in Atlanta! Event details here.
Had a lot of fun working on these 3 art deco inspired illustrations for Victoria Strong last year. They won an award from Applied Arts magazine and will be in the upcoming illustration annual next month! Thanks to creative director Rahul Bhogal at House of Singh.
I have a tiny piece in the big tiny show tonight at Paper Ghost. If you’re in Atlanta, come on by! Super cute flyer by Sarah Neuburger.
Part of a series I did for Victoria Strong - a Toronto moulding and millwork company.
More style experiments for my Wolfe comic with Zachary Abram.
Solitary as an oyster
One of my goals for 2016 is to find a way to keep making comics and not be totally poor at the same time. I know that sounds crazy and impossible but I’d like to try anyways.
I set up a simple Patreon page for people who may want to help me achieve this. Please take a look and become a patron of my work if you think it’s worth it! Thank you and even if all you can contribute is to share this post, your support means the world to me!

I first found GG’s work through Santoro’s Comics Workbook and have been consistently amazed. Check out GG’s work here > http://ohgigue.com/ and $upport if you can. You are contributing to the future of comics!
