Hike 4 of 52 was terwillager hot springs. It was eerie and rainy I’ve never seen the spring before the fire but there was a lot of damage and I can’t imagine the beauty before.
Hike 3 of 52 was Mosier Creek Falls which was a secretive hike which took you through a small graveyard from the 1800’s and out on top of a cliff overlooking th Gorge.
Hike 2 of 52! Crescent Beach Trail was gorgeous. Very wet but that gave us the beach to ourselves.
This year, I’m doing another 52 hike challenge. And as always I’m behind on posting them. 52 hikes I’ve never done. Heres#1 short and sweet, Wahclella Falls!
This day is so important to me. It’s been a while since I opened my heart, free of worry and loved. In this moment, I was loved back.
I have battened down the hatches and armored myself is quick stabbing phrases. I’m equipped with a thick coat of spines and surrounded with explosive assumptions, fueled by a hate-driven fear of the pain underneath. You cannot fathom the matter from inside. Churning lava, dripping from the stone cold clockwork running this machine. I wrap myself in sheets of iron, welded shut to hold back the steaming tears of misunderstanding. Sealed tightly against you.

I am worth it.
Sat in some hot springs listening to the river flow below us and the drizzle drip from the trees, it’s good to be back.
