Ik it’s been awhile but back to the twins Jake and Tyler hehe, Um how would you say they do when they start fighting are they mad at each other for like weeks or is it like couple of hours

Ah the twins.
The twins don’t argue much but when they do get into large arguments and how long they stay angry for really depends on the topic. Such as like a near death experience that they kept a secret.
And nothing really stops them from talking, maybe the longest would be a day at most. But usually they work it out once everyone’s calmed down.
oh just thinking that operator doesn’t have friends besides the Lotus, Ordis, and Loid. (Drifter too depending on KIM dialogue choices)
The operator doesn’t get daily fun conversations. They don’t get to play fables and frontiers or Ollie’s crash course. They don’t get a pizza party. They don’t get to collect Peely-Pix. They don’t have best friends. They don’t get to be a kid.
Been playing Warframe a lot and now have a stupid silly au where the operator goes to the 99 timeline instead of drifter and here’s my little stupid rambles and ideas in meme form I had
Canon lore? I make my own canon.
My operator is named Keiran, Drifter goes by Keir (ke-ear) both are he/him
Pretty much same canon interactions, i have a lil hc that allows op & drift the exist within the same body in near death experiences. So when Entrati shoots Keiran, Keir is able to channel himself and start the time loop without fully being there.
Essentially he stopped mid conversation with Lyon and went “hold that thought.” Then blips out of existence, starts the loop and comes back all within like a few seconds. “Sorry, my other self did something stupid, carry on.”
All while the 1999 timeline is happening Keir is wrangling the devils triad and trying to locate Tau with The Lotus and Loid. Keir is besties with Marie. He made out with Roathe.
When the hex quest is over, they swap. Keir trades with Keiran since it’s his turn in the dark refractory and Keir goes to 1999 to make a portal with the instructions from Roathe so they can have a direct way back and forth in the sanctum that also allows the hex to come to them. It took him all of a day, Roathe’s instructions were shockingly easy to follow.
General relationships of the au:
Keir: big brother. He doesn’t go far from Kerian when in the sanctum, he holds his ground against The Lotus when she gets a lil pushy about urgency and keeps an eye on Kerian because the kid will listen to him more than anyone else. Especially when Kerian tries to push through the memories to locate Tau. Neither eat or sleep a lot so they hold each other accountable. Has taken Keiran to Duviri during the joy spiral after experiencing what happened on Tau, first time in centuries they both laughed and smiled genuinely. Both are like “hurt my brother, I hurt you.”
Arthur: thats his dad, like Keiran was a wet kitten left in a cardboard box and Arthur folded immediately. Arthur “I’ve always wanted to settle down in a house with roses out front.” Nightingale. He skipped a few steps, he got the time traveling void eldritch child first. Did stab his sword through Keiran’s hand and felt sick to his stomach that he harmed a child(said child said it’s fine and that he’s had worse which made him more sick) Cooks simple food for him since he’s not used to eating the food from 99. Pizza made him almost throw up after and Arthur noticed Keiran doesn’t eat much, and that’s not gonna fly on his watch. Absolutely hates that a kid has seen multiple lifetimes of war and doesn’t know how to be a normal kid. Forces Keiran to wear a helmet and all protective gear when riding an atomicycle, he can drive one as a warframe but he’s too short when not and usually rides passenger with Arthur.
Eleanor: wine aunt. Painted the lotus symbol on the motorcycle helmet for Keiran. Has seen everything he’s lived through, shows him that painting and writing can help. They sit and draw or write, this also helped Eleanor process her own circumstances and experiences. Managed to pull a happy memory to the surface for Keiran before the Zariman, they both cried. Also hates that Keiran carries the world on his shoulders and pushes away being a child for the sake of helping anyone and everyone. Calls him Arthur 2.0 for that (Arthur hates it because he knows it’s true).
Aoi & Amir: besties, inseparable. Amir taught Keiran how to play video games, is a little stressed out because Keiran is getting real close to beating his high scores. Aoi loves sharing music and taught him how to dance and have fun. Also how to fold paper cranes, Keiran has a hundred so far. They play board games together. They started a Fables & Frontiers games just the three of them, Aoi as a druid and Kerian as a paladin, Amir is a very good game master. (Quincy joined half way through as a rouge and Eleanor as a mage). Keiran races Amir with Gauss Prime, they keep a time sheet, Keiran is in the lead by one millisecond. They talk about cool future stuff like the orbiter and strata relays and space.
Quincy: the cool older cousin. “Don’t tell his maj that I gave you this.” And it’s a efervon charge and a wad of cash. They get into trouble, Quincy convinces Keiran to do a lot of risky runs (which he thinks are fun) and sometimes it blows up in their faces. When it’s just the two of them, they talk honestly, Quincy drops his tough walls. A lot of the time it’s talking or complaining about random things. Quincy shows Keiran photography and they secretly go around Höllvania to shoot pics (Eleanor knows but chooses not to tell)
Lettie: wine aunt #2. Keiran helps her with medic runs, carries supplies for her when making rounds with the civilians. He likes to sit with her rats, and he tells her about his Kubrows and Kavats. Never in his life has he also been scolded so badly for getting a scrape. At first had no idea what she was saying but she eventually taught him Spanish.
Vel & Minerva: they have a parental eye on him too. He reminds them of Rusalka when she was younger. Minerva grilled at first him for information on Rusalka and Keiran felt bad that he didn’t know and couldn’t help as much as he wanted. (Keir did the isleweaver and told them when he and Kieran swapped). Vel taught Keiran how to play bar dice and loses to the kid every single time. Minerva makes him mocktails, she may be an alcoholic but she’s a responsible alcoholic.
Flare & Lizzie: “I meant worse as in worse than being seen as a freak, flare.” “Oh.” Lizzie of course loves Keiran and Keir, Flare was embarrassed when she called Keiran demon in front of everyone and Keiran was so unfazed. Lizzie also randomly dropping future comments around everyone, “we live in demon’s ship!” Or “blinky cube needs to be more nice to us, we help demon.” Keiran curb stomping viktor when he tried to interrupt Flare’s performance. Flare also teaching Keiran that being twisted by hate leads to bad things and to never let it take root. But also says “oh yeah no, fuck that guy, I’d hate the ground he’s buried in.” When Keiran told them about Ballas.
Kaya: friends, they argue about who’s older constantly, Keiran always whipping out he’s technically centuries old but Kaya saying she was born first. The trade Peely Pix and cringe from afar at Vel & Minerva.
The devils triad: they’re much closer to Keir but Marie is very sweet to Keiran and he likes her a lot. Lyon is also very kind, he likes to listen about the solstice festivals which Lyon is happy to share. Roathe is surprisingly very patient, he doesn’t interact alone with Keiran because he’s very aware of the kids trauma around orokin and if he does he keeps is short. The first time Keiran saw him after reliving his memories he freaked out, half because he saw Ballas again and half because he felt the lingering anger of the Uriel warframe. Roathe in a very roundabout way said he didn’t mean to trigger that and apologized. They both like Bird 3 and they both hate Ballas so they have a mutual understanding. The hex when they first arrived did not take well to Roathe and it was Keiran who stood up and explained yes he’s orokin but not the one who’s directly responsible for what happened to the Tenno and he’s on their side.
The Lotus: those are her children. Both. Keiran and Keir. Touch either of them and she’ll eat you. She’s also aware that sometimes she can’t be both commander and mother and often appreciates when Loid or Keir or another steps up and tells her to back off. She sometimes loses herself.

Gustave Écrivain is a Head Mechanic of the Jaeger program, creator of the Painted series of Jaegers, and a former Jaeger pilot cadet.
Verso Dessendre is one of the pilots of Painted Cypher, one of the fastest and most lethal Jaegers in the world, and currently without a co-pilot.
Both of them have their past, their baggage, and a hundred reasons that they should not work together as Jaeger pilots. Yet the second they step in a sparring ring together, it is obvious from that very first exchange - they are meant to be.
Can they overcome their respective pasts, and all of the obstacles in the present - to end up together in the one place that matters.
The Drift.
Is it just me or does the “forever painting in our hearts” on verso’s headstone feel kinda like a total disregard of him as an individual because he wasn’t very fond of painting when he got older….

Here’s a sneak peek of my verstave fics I’ve been cookin
1) Eclipse — a tale of the Sun and Moon
“And what do you call them?” Gustave asked before Verso could speak.
Verso blinked clearly taken aback. But the surprise smoothed quickly into something composed. Casual.
“I’m not sure what you’re referring to,” he said with a small shrug.
Gustave made a face and pointed directly upward.
“Them,” he clarified. “Will your mother like that you’ve poked holes in her painting?”
For a fraction of a second, Verso’s expression fractured.
Gustave saw it all flicker across his face—joy, sharp and boyish; fear, raw and exposed; relief, almost dizzying; concern; curiosity. Masks, shifting too quickly to fully settle.
The festival noise dimmed around them.
In that moment, beneath the glow of his newly scattered lights, Verso looked less like a god awaiting judgment. And more like someone waiting to see if his gift was liked.
“Stars,” Verso said at last.
2) Sleeping Giant — inspired by cathianemelian’s arrietty au “minuscule”
He reached up with his flesh hand and placed it against Verso’s cheek, just beneath his eye. The skin there was warm—always warm. In winter, when snow crusted the world in frost, Verso had been warm. In summer’s heavy heat, he was still warm.
A constant.
Verso smiled faintly and drew him closer, tilting his head so his cheek leaned gently into Gustave’s touch. Gustave leaned in as well, pressing himself into the curve where Verso’s nose met his cheekbone.
It was the closest they could come to an embrace.
Verso’s other hand curled protectively around Gustave’s back, supporting him, holding him near without pressure.
Gustave closed his eyes.
He wished he could hug him properly, wrap both arms around him and feel that closeness returned in equal measure.
There is no “good ending” both endings are poor approaches to grief and they both have pros and cons some better than others but still they’re both bad.
That being said I chose Verso’s ending.
One of the main reasons why I chose Verso’s ending was Verso’s soul (the fading boy). Verso is the only one who approaches him at the end and talk directly to him.
“You’re tired of painting, aren’t you?” In which the soul nods in response.
Some argue the soul doesn’t understand what’s happening but I believe he does. It’s shown in a lot of his dialogue that he’s aware and even hurting, that this conflict is destroying him more than honoring his memory.
In the ancient sanctuary the dialogue he speaks that he’s struggling to remember his family, that he wishes he could laugh with everyone again.
“Re… Cle… What were their names? I… Why do I forget… Everything… has washed away.”
He is confused and sad that his canvas is being torn apart. In falling leaves we encounter a version of Clea (lady in the sap) and she tells us she’s creating monsters to destroy/capture chroma to help expel Aline for him.
“But… But… That’s not… What I wanted… I never. Please… Maybe you can do it… Stop her paintings from erasing any more… Be careful…”
Also in the painting workshop he doesn’t like that Clea is painting monsters.
“The beast is no more…I can sleep again… Dream again… Where shadows fall and monsters flee, in dawn’s embrace, the soul set free. May she never paint her horrors here ever again.”
Verso cares deeply for his canvas and its inhabitants, I don’t believe he truly wishes everything to be erased but he also knows that it’s hurting him and his family. It’s also hinted that none of his family listens to the soul, that they only see him as a shard of a dead son and not a sentient being.
after defeating Clea:
“I wish she would have listened to me. Then she wouldn’t have to make this painting suffer. Painting or not, she had feelings, and a soul. That’s what I think, at least, but I know she thinks differently. For me everything in this canvas is as much alive as what is outside.
Esquie, the gestrals, the grandis, even Aline’s paintings. I welcome them all. Painting should be a celebration. Just like music…Thank you for taking care of her. It may not be much, but would you accept a gift from me? A garment we had designed together. I can make only one. Who should have it?”
[Upon choosing:]
“Wonderful. Here, have this. Thank you. For everything. Take care of yourself, and of the paintings around you.”
The dialogue from lumiere is another great example, he doesn’t want to stop painting but he’s been forced to watch this happen. He speaks of Renior and erasing the canvas for his and the family’s sake even saying he might continue and then trialing off which might be hint that he’s aware of the pain he’s bringing to them and vice versa.
“He is here… Doing… What needs to be done… What I can’t do anymore…”
A. [What needs to be done?]
“For… My sake… And theirs…”
B. [What can’t you do anymore?]
“Yes… Unless… No… Maybe I should never stop… But…”
So when verso directly speaks to him and asks him, I think that was when his decision was made, that his canvas has been damaged beyond repair that he can’t do anything to fix it. That he just witnessed his mother, father and sister fighting over him and have no say in what happens because to them he’s a fragment.
I think he decided he was tired of not being able to do anything but keep a broken world alive while his family slowly rips each other apart and waste away.
I also think Verso knew this, though he is different he is still verso at the core who loves his family deeply and can’t stand seeing them hurt each other. Thats why he extends his hand and waits, he doesn’t force the soul, the soul willingly stands because they are the same, the same echo of a lost son who would burn over and over again so his family can live.
Another reason is Verso’s words to Maelle.
“You’re Maelle where you go, you don’t need this canvas.”
“You have an extraordinary ability to paint, you will never have to suffer a life you don’t want.”
I believe this is the real Verso showing through the cracks to help boost his little sister up and forward, telling her she doesn’t need him to shine, that she is more than what she thinks she is. That she is witty, intelligent and powerful even when she thinks she not. That she’s painting the bars of her own prison. That everything will be okay.
Trust me when music kicks in with them gathering over his grave im tearing up without fail. This game guts me every single time I play it.
I also can’t stand hearing Verso beg to be unpainted Ben Starr the actor you are
just remembered Gustave is the only person to make p!Renoir step back.
He didn’t flinch fighting Verso, didn’t try to crawl away when Maelle cut him after he was beaten, didn’t run when he was gommaged by Maelle & Renoir.
But he did flinch back when Gustave came at him and he 100% died on impact of the overcharge attack.
Gustave died because p!Renior knew damn well if this guy learned gradient attacks he’d be cooked, because that was probably the first in a long time he’s been killed by a regular human.
I am alive, I am still writing! I’m currently working on multiple different works as that’s why I’m not as active on here right now. But I’m still here.
