brad couldn't help but feel a slight pang of jealously when he watched as candy kiss someone else. he knew that he shouldn't have let it get to him , he knew that he should be exploring all of his other options , that is was this whole show was about , but ever since he laid eyes on her the only thing he'd wanted to explore was every inch of her. so when she pulled him close and started dragging him to a more secluded place , he was more than eager to follow her. “ it wasn't so bad. ” he shrugged. not a complete and utter lie sure valentina was great , but he'd be lying if he said he didn't wish it was her he was kissing . “ how about yours? ” he wasn't particular fond of knowing that answer , but he asked it anyway , part of him hoping her answer would be anything other than enthusiastic.

“ i'd certainly say so. ” the teasing remark barely left her lips before he closed this distance. her breath quietly hitched. suddenly, every thought in her head had vanished and all she could focus on his proximity - or a lack thereof. her own brown hues flickered between his lips and his strong gaze one that caused a shiver to rumble down her spine. she draped her arms over his shoulders, allowing herself to get pulled in. her head tilted ever so slightly into his touch, whatever small amount of hesitation she had now had melted way in his touch. slowly, she allowed the remaining distance between them, her eyes fluttering shut just as their lips finally met.

“ i don't suck at relationships, it's an honor to date me. not my fault some men can't handle a woman with my standards. ” she simply shrugged her nonchalantly , a teasing grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. “ i thinks the question is why do you suck at them ”

“ who cares what they think? it is literally a pool! that's what it is there for and if the others , for some odd reason , decide you are that guy for enjoying it , then that's their problem. ” she scoffed , her eyes rolling in utter disinterest. “ besides , it is hardly scandalous to enjoy yourself. honestly if you ask me , judging by the looks of some of the people here , it might be a far better option anyway. ”

brad was no novice when it came to women flirting with him. normally he could usually match it , but this blonde was different from the ones back home. there was something about her that had the airhead's usual confidence slipping at the edges , like it just didn't know where to land anymore , especially when she managed to do the one thing they never could: make him nervous. “ um ... t-thank you , ” a nervous chuckle was released as a heat crept up onto him fast, spreading through his face and ears. “ i ... wow , it just got really hot in here all of a sudden. ” his eyes darted around , while his hand lifting to fan himself in an attempt that didn't really help at all. he swallowed trying to force down the lump of nerves that had settled there. when he finally looked back at her , it didn't last long before he was shaking his head at himself. “ have a problem with you coming up to talk to me? ” he repeated . “no , not at all. not even a little. i mean , i'd actually ... i'd be more than down. being in the company of a beautiful woman like you. yeah. i'm totally not going to complain about that. ”

odessa's nose wrinkled almost immediately , a look of mild offense crossing her features. “ first of all , i resent the implication that i've ever been the problem. ” the brunette pressed a hand against her chest , feigning genuine hurt along with a sigh for a bit of dramatic flair. after a moment , however , a grin tugged at the corners of her lips. “ but since we are so keen on sharing— ” she shifted in her chair , crossing one leg over the other, her grin turning far more wicked. “ i once locked an ex of mine on the roof of a building. numerous calls and texts were ignored that day . i think he had been up there for hours before i was nice enough to render some sort of assistance. ” she paused , memories flooding her mind causing a small giggle to roll out. “ and before you judge , he did cheat on me so i think i let him off easy. i could have disclosed so much about his little problem , but i'm just a girl who enjoys her future blackmail material. ”

“ zero. hands down the hottest person here. lets run away together and forget this competition. ” brad attempted to keep the rouse up , but when he couldn't hold it for much longer he busted out into a fit of laughter . “ dude , i am so sorry . i just had to do it too you . ”

“ yeah i am. how could you tell .ᐣ ” brad asked , confusion laced in his voice that was until he noticed what exactly he was wearing ; something that was so common to him but to others that screams i surf for a living ... then an innocent smirk appeared on his face . “ never mind . don't answer that question and completely state the obvious and embarrass me even more. ”
