A late night at the academy

it's finally finished basically it's a short fic about hex,roller brawl and food fight chatting at three am

Some lines from my skylanders academy fanfic I'm writing featuring hex,roller brawl, food fight and skull.

1. “Well that went to crap.”

Food fight looked at him.

“Dude what the heck?....”

2. “But still,' why are you up? We have class in four hours from now.”

“I'm a vampire’ I'm just always up…unfortunately.”

3. Hex looks between the two. She floats over to food fight offering a glass of water.

Food fight quickly takes it and drinks it half way’ pauses then lifts the glass pouring it on his headleaves and they soak it up almost instantly.

Hex just stares.

I wonder why most of the time on reddit they hate skylanders academy Roller Brawl like I get thats she's a bit different but it is mentioned that the characters are supposed to be younger versions of themselves so what happened to her brothers is more fresh so honestly I think if it got more fleshed out this would of made Roller Brawl more realistic as a character.

Someone said that they wished she was more preppy....like bro in the video games she was more rowdy but even if that was the case we are dealing with a teenage version of Roller brawl here honestly I'm kind of glad they didn't do that because I prefer a version of her that has to grow into that most likely.

Honestly skylanders academy as a whole I think would of been better if it got more time and money to be fleshed out because so many things were planned but due to budget was cut from the show I'm not saying the show doesn't have its flaws but in my personal opinion roller brawl's moody behavior isn't one of them especially if she was supposed to possibly get a character arc.

And then academy is supposed to be an alternate universe things are supposed to be different and that includes the characters

And then some characters are so unheard screen time wise they are hard to judge like flashwing.

Even in the main crew if cadets like roller brawl, food fight and wind-up we still don't know much about them because they don't at least have an episode about them and season three was originally supposed to be cadet-oriented according to the og show runner so it would of eventually got taken care of if Activision wasn't being assholes
