Calming down at last, he wiped out the dust from his clothes using his hands, then his stare fixated upon the young male in front of him. Watching the way way he was distraught, crying and of course, confused. He seemed to have a hard time to say the right words. Not that Sun Quan would blame him, this was way too sudden and happened out of nowhere.
He spoke at last after a while. “I have my reasons for saving you, yes. And it may not look like it but I have seen you in the past, and sometime inside me just couldn’t allow you to die.”
Saving someone you apparently didn’t know would be considered foolish and reckless. Especially from someone like Sun Quan, but like he said, the young lord has his own reasons for that. Even if they weren’t immediately valid.
“You know who I am too, isn’t it? So, we know each other, at least, each other’s names. Isn’t that more than just a coincidence?”
“You... you have?” That confused him, but at the same time, he knew it to be true, especially from the way the other was a... somewhat familiar face. He knew he had met him before, but at the same time, he couldn’t remember much outside of a hazy dream. Everything about him seemed to be clouded in uncertainty, and he was confused as to what was real or what was fake.
“Uhm... p-partially. I mean... I have an idea, but... I’m not too certain about it.” He admitted before shifting a bit and trying to look and see if they were still in danger, or if they could go back to... wherever. “I-I mean I know your name and all, but other than that, It’s kinda really fuzzy so I’m not entirely certain?” He admitted before shifting a bit and then pushing the door open a bit.
“I think it’s safe to leave now... I don’t hear them at all.” He pointed out, though he did wince a bit with the arrow wound that still rendered his left arm immobile for the time being. “I... should still be able to use my tome, though. So... don’t worry too much about that.”
