hi, this is a blog full of screenshots from the pathologic (мор. утопия) games because i'm a huge fan of them. at this point i've played so much of these games that if you looked hard enough in the game files, you'll eventually find me in there somehow. probably.
i do use a few mods while playing the games sometimes to help with taking screenshots/tweaking the graphics here and there.
below the cut is an FAQ + some extra information
screenshot requests are CLOSED (for now)
mod list:
for pathologic classic hd:
reshade - preset here
no more fog/rat fog editor
for pathologic 2:
reshade - preset(s) here
breathing room (so I have time to mess around and take screenshots)
FAQ:
Q: do i need to credit you?
A: only if you want to! if you're re-uploading them elsewhere unchanged, i'd appreciate you dropping some credit, mostly so anyone who's also looking for screenshots can find more here.
Q: can you get a picture of (character, place, event, etc)?
A: the answer is most likely going to be yes, but please be aware that my pathologic playthroughs come in waves, so please reference the status up there with respect to requests. however, i'm almost always inevitably going to return back to playing at some point, so watch this space.
Q: what the hell do you run p2 on???
A: gaming laptops, and they're not particularly that heavy-duty. right now, i'm using a lenovo legion 7 16IRX9. if you want p2 to run in any way that remotely approaches smooth, you need an ssd. however, my earliest screenshots were run off a much less sophisticated dell laptop from 2016 that i put through hell and back
Q: what kind of performance do you get?
A: not 60fps, that's for sure. at max quality, it hovers at around 25fps to 30fps but i'm used to it.
everyone calls me fake, but i’m the only one who is real. this is why maria hates me. next to me she is a fake, a rag doll, and she knows it. you came to capella to chase away maria’s dream? capella will not tell you how to do it, but i will.
"they thought they were killing the wrath of the steppe — but they gave birth to it themselves, when blind hatred drove them to tear apart whoever came to hand. for the sand plague is not a microbe, but pain spilled through the streets."
"you must meet your own gaze and see the doubt in your eyes. that's the next step."
"and after that? you said there were two things to accomplish."
"next, you have to cast that doubt away — and die."
"she always found the right words for every person. and now i'm standing here unable to find the right words for her, and it's unbearable."
"i was convinced lara could do miracles."
"lara would have laughed. she adored my humor. couldn't live without it. she couldn't..."
"there is a maze ahead of you. i won't give you directions outright, but i am to deliver the following message: sometimes a reflection is more faithful than its source."
