Okay so anyone who’s followed me for more than a week knows that my first three favorite characters were my assassin daughter and my criminal sons. Seriously, Killer, Klepto, Pyro for life.
As such, I’ve written with a ton of phenomenal Snart blogs, all of which I adore. As someone who’s dipping her toe into the Len pool (fem!Len, but still), I just want to stand up and applaud every single person who writes him because he’s such a complex, multi-faceted, complex character and you all do such an amazing job at bringing him to life. Honestly, if I could mention every single Leonard I’ve ever written with or follow, I would, because you ALL deserve a shout out.
As it is, I’m gonna cheat a little and give an honorable mention to: @not-a-white-knight. I’ve already got an ask for Gabe’s Mick as well as his multi so I’ll gush more about him later, but I have to give props to the guy who introduced me to Legends and the first Leonard I wrote with. Contrary to what he may think, Gabe has a wonderful grasp on Len’s mannerisms and dialogue. Seriously, little things like italicizing words makes me hear Len’s voice so so well in all his writing. He’s always going to be one of my favorite Len blogs.
Now, in no particular order, three of my multitude of favorite Snart blogs:
@sncrt: Jewel is a gem and the pun is absolutely intended. (Len would approve.) An absolute angel OOC, Jewel has such a great grasp on Len’s inner workings. She’s able to handle the dialogue and mannerisms well and gives equal attention to the more vulnerable inner thoughts as well as the cold hearted criminal persona we all know and love. Not only that but we’ve created such fun and detailed stories for her Len and my Sara and as someone who really only shipped C.aptain C.anary for their potential and not really for their on screen, very rushed, romance? Jewel makes me ship them hardcore. I’m in love with the love that her Len and my Sara have built. Honestly, such a phenomenal Snart, you should def be following this darling.
@algidcalc: So Bailey’s on hiatus right now but I can’t help but shout them out. Honestly, they know how to get into Len’s head so well, it astounds me every time I read one of their posts. They’re creative as all get out, every single plot they come up with is so engaging, way more so than the shows have ever been, it’s astonishing and awe-inspiring to witness. Not only are they creative, thoughtful, and an engaging writer, but Bailey themselves is an angel on earth. I’m not even joking, they’re so kind and sweet and one of the best friends I’ve ever made on this site. Without their presence, my dash isn’t the same. I adore Bay and their Len with all my heart.
@coldnofeelings: Okay so Jen?????? Jen’s actually Leonard Snart, I’m absolutely convinced. She gets into his head so well and understands what makes him tick. She plays every single facet of his personality - the flirt, the deadly calculator, the protective brother, the pun loving thief, and everything in between. She writes such thorough inner monologues so that, even if a muse is in the dark as to Len’s thoughts, anyone reading the thread knows exactly what twists and turns his mind are making. Honestly, her writing is a work of art and I’m stunned we write together.
