The Air Jordan 36 Appears With A “Year Of The Tiger” Look

Although not officially announced as part of the collection in Nike China’s official presser for the Year Of The Tiger collection, it seems like a safe bet that this newly revealed Air Jordan 36 is indeed part of the annual Chinese New Year collection. Despite not possessing the same mix of golds and light spruce tones, this Air Jordan 36 surely sticks out for the tiger stripes evident on the rubber outsole of the shoes and beneath the mesh weave overlay.

The Air Jordan 36, which was announced earlier this Fall season, has been rather slow to market (likely due to ongoing shipping issues). Just three “GR” colorways have hit the market, while athlete-specific versions were made available through the SNKRS App in accompanying regions. This Air Jordan 36, which quite honestly resembles the “Sunset” colorway of the Air Jordan 35, could very well release alongside the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year Of The Tiger” and Air Jordan 6 Low “Year Of The Tiger” on December 30th.

Man Gets Air Jordan 3 With Hilarious Defect

Every now and then, defective Air Jordan sneakers can slip past quality control at the production factories and onto sneaker shelves. The latest pair is this Air Jordan 3 “Patchwork,” which features details that the buyer didn’t initially anticipate.

Joey Malebranche, who goes by @Tr3sMilagros on Twitter, shared images today of this defective “Patchwork” Jordan 3 and in the photos show the Jumpman on the heel tab featuring additional stitching that protrudes from the logo’s lower extremities.

“Ummm, these gotta go back unforgivable Quality Control issue,” Malebranche wrote on the Twitter caption of his defective “Patchwork” Jordan 3.

The owner of this flawed Air Jordan 3 said that he bought the pair directly from the Nike SNKRS app and only spotted the defect when he was inspecting the details of the shoe. At first, Malebranche thought the error was a loose thread until upon further inspection.

“I was going to swap to orange laces, just checking the quality and details I might have missed and there MJ was in all his glory,” Malebranche told Complex.

Nike states on its website that all defective or flawed items purchased directly from the brand do come with an extended 60-day return policy but Malebranche said that he plans to keep the defective pair despite the many individuals who are offering to buy the shoes from him on Twitter.

'Citrus' Air Jordan 7s Are Reportedly Returning in 2022

A fan-favorite retro colorway of the Air Jordan 7 is reportedly returning to shelves in 2022.

According to zSneakerheadz, the non-OG “Citrus” Air Jordan 7 makeup, which was originally released in 2006, will be coming back next year for the first time ever just in time for the model’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Although images of the forthcoming retro have yet to surface, the trusted leaker revealed that the shoe will be identical to the ‘06 release pictured above. The “Citrus” Jordan 7 features a black-based nubuck upper combined with contrasting yellow stitching throughout the panels along with red accents on the sock liner and midsole.
