Congratulations to the incredible Ros, Sniff, Water, Mr. madSpy and everyone on the server for such a rad achievement of winning the WorldWeaver award! The Flight is a monumental labor of love and passion that's been getting more and more astounding with every day!

My Tf!Sniff designs!!!

This is character who’s design I’ve changed the most from their actual art b/c they r fun to make concepts for and I wanted them to look more like a mole. The two different body color palettes are for at the start they’re pale and desaturated because of no sun and then they get more as they spend more time outside. Also I gave them a star nose because of those especially funky looking moles.

important question re: tags on prev post - is "lifebloom" the romantic or platonic name for Juniper and Ros? asking for documentation purposes

I'm fine to have anyone interupt the relationship of the characters as they please!

However,

(Content Creator) Ros and I have spoken at length how their relationship is just kinda just that. Probably something neither of them care to label. It's difficult to explain without giving spoilers, but tldr, tf!Juniper just appreciates tf!Ros' company, and I think she would accept it in whatever form it came in, and be equally happy regardless.

The duo name is so cute tho icl, the fact that tf!juniper unlocked her one regenative power thinking of much she wanted to grow to support tf!ros is definitely a "bloom"

The dilemma of tf!Juniper wanting to tell tf!Ros about everything is so intense in a way that can’t be conveyed even on streams tbh

Tf!Ros is one of the only characters that makes Tf!Juniper feel normal - not just as a person but somehow even in the situation. Despite how crazy everything is, tf!Juniper feels the most like tf!Ros wouldn’t care about where she’s from, and that’s what scares her the most. What if tf!Ros did? What if tf!Ros saw her people as the cause of the corruption, and the very thing that hurt her so deeply? I know it’s driving tf!Juniper crazy, cause the closer they get, the more she wants to tell Ros, and the more afraid she is to risk their friendship. Simultaneously, juniper knows her identity is a danger in it of itself. To know is to be implicated, and the thought of even that hurting tf!Ros is too much for her.

Juniper is such an interesting character, I really love the snippets of them that I've seen from watching Water and Legs' povs.

you have mentioned how juniper is a bit of an unreliable narrator, lying about stuff without us fans realizing, and since then i am questioning every information that is leaving her mouth regarding the spies and rebels...

Ugh Ok so, this is literally the crux of Juniper's character.

She is someone who insanely values the truth and information, but is forced to lie. Not just to the people around her but herself. I slightly regret mentioning she's an unreliable narrative, theoretically everyone is. We all have bias.

What I more so mean with Juniper being an unreliable narrator is she has a different view point and like everyone else, that filter's everything she says. I find Juniper to be very reflective of the society she hails from. The structure of the Storm raven's relies on the idea of confirmation bias, they feed the truth with evidence 96% of the time, which makes the 4% of lies, seem like they have some sort of validity. Juniper is very much so the same way, intentionally or not. She's always striving to to tell the truth, but every choice she's weighing in her mind. How will this information complicate this person? How will it complicate me? How can I share as much as possible while avoiding the one truth that damns us all. Even now, in this post I am doing this, sharing what I can about her, without answering the heart of your question, because well... it's top secret LOL!

Admittedly, it's a very difficult character to play at times, and I have geniunely let things slip in emotional moments, which I think is her greatest weakness. Sharing is love to her, she wants to be a writer because she want's to share everything wonderful she has ever seen, thought and experienced, unforunately not being able to do that, is a knife twisting in her heart. And so far the only remediy she has, is lying to herself.

Anyways, a lot of this is examplified, and can be seen in legs most recent stream and in my last stream with ros where we tunneled in the caves together!

There's another character... yet to be introduced, which I think will play off juniper super well and hopefully we can further explore these nuances.

a tf!juniper family tree ramble cause why not:

Juniper has two mothers, Daphne and Sorrel. Daphne is from the Sun Realm originally, (her character will be explored in future streams! there are lines written, plans MADE) She is also the chronically ill parent, exposed to the corruption when she was younger, yet she somehow survived. Unfortunately, it continues to slowly eat away at her, and her condition worsens by the year. She works part time, mostly in hydroponic gardens, and she runs a small book club with her daughters. Shes the strangely cynical one tbh, despite the fact that many would expect her to be softer.

Sorrel is a civil engineer! She's so badass in my brain. and she's where some of Juniper's tinkering curiousity comes from. She works on aqueductes and other waterflow with the city that the raven's occupy alongside some metalworks. Sorrel is a big model for Juniper's ideology around people. She emphasises love in a soft quiet way, and considering how toxic Daphne's upbringing was, I feel like Sorrel did a lot of work to help navigate how they raised their children.

Which reminds me... Daphne never misses the sun, because to her, it is Sorrel. Juniper has four sisters. Willow, Rowan, Olive, and Laurel. Juniper is the youngest, with her eldest sister already married w/ kids lol. I thinkkkk out of all of her sisters she's probably closest to Rowan, who despite being older, feels younger to her.

Another important figure in her life she hasn't mentioned was her "boss" at her job. Just some tiny old dude that Juniper banters with while copying books. This is the main reason she's so poorly socialized in some ways, or acts old, because she has spent the last few years working a 9-5 with someones gramps.
