Her smile fell into a frown and she shivered when he leaned in, his voice sending a chill down her spine. The wolf grinned, leaning her head back so she could see his face, placing their lips only inches apart. She wasn’t going to play fair now either, that just didn’t seem right. The flash of silver caught her attention and a very real, very sinister tone wrapped itself around her voice.
“Oh whats a poor girl to do” she breathed feigning fear, her blue eyes going wide for a moment until she dropped the act and huffed. “Darling, If you want the old fashioned way then I suggest you put that knife away and question me like a real man.”
For a moment Sebastian wondered if he should be disappointed. There had been a few times they’d chosen someone to work for them and they just couldn’t hack it, so Seb had to ‘take care’ of them. He saw that her fear was faked, but she wasn’t stupid enough to pretend the knife wasn’t there so she was in the clear for the moment.
“Where’s the fun in that?” Seb pouted. “I thought you liked a good time. I wanna know how you stack up. Can you defend yourself? Do you want a job enough not to kill me? Could you even try?” He’d give her a chance, but if she’d rather sit and talk, they could do that too.
