Levi smiled softly at that suggestion. He liked the idea, of what would happen after this. He didn't care that it wasn't normal, he'd never wished for a regular life and he wasn't going to start now. Killing titans and sitting in the sky sounded amazing to him. Be damned anyone who tried to get him to follow a 'reasonable goal'. The strange and wonderful was his life and he wanted to keep it that way.

He hummed a little in thought, glancing away to stare at the wall. Serinaty was a distracting person to look at. If he tried to think while watching her he found himself getting distracted, whether it was by her ears, tail, violet eyes or just some other thing strange and wonderful about her.

"Perhaps it's best to go soon. I mean very soon." If they were spreading that meant that it was going to change faster didn't it? They couldn't have that happen. "Or now, right now." He suggested, nodding to himself and looking back to her. "I've been looking forward to seeing your home, and I'm not that hungry." The prospect of what they were about to do did tend to kill one's appetite.

There was a strange feel to all of this. The whole situation was off. It felt so- final. Like everything has been building up to this. But he didn't even know what would happen now. He'd be damned if he had to loose Serinaty though. Even at the cost of himself. He couldn't think about that now. They say half of winning is believing that you can. Levi always thought that was complete horse shit but just in case, just in case it did work, he was sure going to try. So for the love of the walls he was going to believe this could work. Because he had to. This feeling, the one that was telling him this was end game, he was just going to reply with 'well it's going to be a happy ending if I have anything to do with it'. Because he had to.

It was strange to be hearing such questions. This wasn’t a conversation he’d ever had before with someone. When it came to love human’s tended to just somehow understand it, like it was ingrained into their very being to know. He’d never considered having to explain what it all was, he supposed that was why he was so terrible at answering her queries. “We can talk any time you like, I don’t know how well and accurately I can reply to your questions but I’ll try.” He he huffed quietly.

“You need to be alo-?” Levi’s voice trailed off as he realised she’d already disappeared to God knows where. There was no point in trying to find her to check if she was alright like he would have done if she was human. She was a powerful kitsune, if she wanted to be alone, then Levi sure as Hell wasn’t going to be able to find her. It didn’t matter if he was humanity’s greatest soldier, that was only humanity. She was on a whole different level. He let out a long breath, shaking his head slightly and began walking again after having stopped in his tracks along with Serinaty.

He made his way back to his place and took his time, lazily getting prepared for bed before slumping into the mattress. His eyes closed and his heart rate slowed. His body relaxed to the point where he didn’t want to move, but he couldn’t fall asleep. That was alright though, he’d had a couple hours of sleep before and that was about enough for him. It was better not to have to face the nightmares anyway.

Awoken by the shadows she opened violet eyes to stare at nothing. It was speaking to her through telepathy again although there was a clawed hand that had held her upper arm. Seems that’s what shook her awake.

She stretched fixing her position and opens a portal back to Levi’s world. “I’m a bit nervous about today.” Serinaty steps out ending up right outside his office door. Not questioning the placing the Abyss provided there was this odd warm feeling in her chest now.

The kitsune knocked twice before just opening the door peeking in “Morning Levi!” A smile was on her face as she stepped in. Last night was weird. Today her thoughts were better, she understood that emotion last night. No need to be jealous as everything happens with time and boy did she have lots.

Serinaty walked over and managed to smother the short man in a hug. “So, todays the day.” There was no point in asking if he was REALLY sure because that had already been asked. “After breakfast would you be ready to go? Or a little after noon? Can’t be to late in your world as night’s approaching in mine now.” She nuzzled into him purring, the nervous feeling was there, and yet it’s impossible for her childish excitement to not be there. He was helping to set her free how could she not be!

Yeah, this felt much better. Speaking of felt..something sweet would be wonderful like strawberry shortcake, tarts, or cookies. As if on cue her stomach growls abnormally loud alerting the fox who just hugged Levi tighter with a growing blush. “D-don’t say anything.” Well…that was embarrassing. Oh wait, could he breath? Serinaty hoped he wasn’t being smothered. “Sorry.” Releasing the Corporal her ears fall “if I hug to much or to tight please let me know. Guess I’m just happy this morning.” Careful of her weakspot the kitsune strokes a hand down that wiggling tail of hers calming it.

There was a moment before something pricked her side. Serinaty lifts her shirt up to check only to see that more black tattoo like symbols spread further along her body, now along the back area. It was working quicker, but all would be fine. She trusts Levi. “You have no idea how bad this hurts.” Even with those words her smile never fell.

As the faintest if light rays entered Levi's room, he decided it was early enough to get up. He didn't do much for the first few minutes, just slowly got dressed, wandered around the place and adjusted the position of a couple random things in the room, made sure everything was in order. He rearranged his files to be a bit neater as well. This was all a clear sign of how some days in his job could be hectic. He wouldn't be able to sit down and have a break for days on end. If he got any sleep at all it was always minimal. Although this appeared to be one of those duller, more uneventful times, it was quite the opposite. These little jobs were a way to distract himself for now or the wait would crush him. He couldn't do anything but wait for Serinaty to come back though, that was all.

When she did finally arrive from where ever she had gone when she had disappeared, he'd barely had time to even say 'hello' before she's enveloped him in a tight hug. A VERY tight hug. The type that could give Levi a hard time breathing. He didn't mind the affection, he could put up with the..... intensity, of it as well, it meant she was happy and to him that was great. He breathed deeply as soon as she released him, rolling his shoulders back to adjust from just having been crushed to dust in her hug.

He waved off her apology, he'd already forgiven her. Although forgiven wasn't really the right word as he had never resented her for it, even as his bones had been being crushed. "I'd prefer sooner." He answered easily, he'd had enough of this eating at him from the inside, it was time that it stopped. Once this was over, that twisted knot in his stomach would disappear and they'd all be okay again.

Levi looked over the symbols covering her body and sighed, shaking his head. "They'll be gone soon right? I wouldn't worry over it." He advised, being a complete hypocrite in the process. The symbols were marks of death, the more the closet he was to loosing Serinaty. Something he would not let happen.

Never knew my father you see, my mother died when I was very young.”

That was enough of that question, he stopped speaking as soon as it got dark. It didn’t effect him so much anymore, he’d be fine talking about it, especially if it was to her. But he’d rather not bring down the mood of the current situation. Before the silence could stretch out for too long he answered the next question she’d asked. “In the underground I learnt how to use 3DMG expertly, I became even better when I joined the military and used my skills against titans. I’m the creator of and so far the only person that can pull off the full spin manoeuvre. I’ve survived situations and done things that were previously thought impossible. All this doesn’t come without a few titles.”

“Now as for my love life…. There was Petra, that’s about it.” He cut himself off short on the last question, knowing that if he let himself speak about it then it would get a lot worse from there.

So much information to process about him. Serinaty listened to each of her questions being answered. He used to be a thug in a place called Underground? Yeah..she could see him being such things. Both her ears fell hearing about his family situation yet she doesn’t speak.

Continuing to listen the kitsune tried to calm her tail. Momentarily grabbing it she ran a hand along the soft fur as her last question was answered. “Ah, so my friend here isn’t a pure man.” Serinaty managed a soft laugh as she went ahead looking at the sky. “Levi, what’s it like to actually love someone and be with them? Does the emotion feel nice?” Serinaty knew it must sound odd to speak in such ways but there was a reason. Violet eyes sparked with curiosity at the possible answer.

“George said I’m not allowed to feel that emotion for another. Truth is..I already knew it’d end bad if I ever did. Only once..there was one time I think I had a taste.” She kicked a rock watching it roll along. “He stabbed me in the heart by the end.”

A small laugh escaped at the memory, it’s actually easier to handle after 400 years have gone by. “I wonder what its like to really love someone and have that emotion returned? Must be nice.” To hold hands, go on dates, trust them to talk about what’s bothering you and your fears, to kiss and so on. Would someone ever love her in such a way? It’s exciting to think about.

At least she’s had her first kiss already. “Slight topic change so it wont get weird, Levi who was your first kiss? Mine’s kind of funny and I don’t know if it counts, but you go first.”

Levi hoped that when she said that the person she loved, the first person she ever loved, stabbed her in the heart, it was metaphorical and not literal but you never knew with her. Really it was likely to be both. He probably shouldn't think to hard about it.

"What's it like to be in love? Thats a difficult question." How could he describe the feeling of loving someone and having that love returned? That feeling that was ecstasy when the person was near and almost painful longing when they were away. It was so complicated but so beautifully simple and pure as well. It was an experience that everyone deserved to have at least once in their live. Petra had made him happier then anyone else could. She saw his faults and the parts of him that were broken but she didn't see them like Levi did, she saw them as signs that he'd fought bravely through the difficulties in his life. While he was with her, sometimes, every now and then he could see himself through her eyes. He imagined that sometimes she could do the same for him. He hoped she could because then she could know how much she truly meant to him. That. That was love.

But Levi wasn't good with words, he could never describe it. He imagined it might take someone who had an interest in writing and practiced it a lot to come up with a better answer then what he could give. Because the only answer he could come up with was this; "It's indescribably amazing." He shrugged as he stared off into the distance, lost in his thoughts. "The answer's Petra, again. In my life I don't find much time to be social."

Yeah, her body was confused at it as well or perhaps she explained it wrong. His language is difficult at times for the fox to translate. Either way Serinaty was amazed by him.

“Oh..the ritual.” Her ears fell showing the slight discomfort in topic choice. Perking back up the kitsune smiled, “well for one thing I’ll need you to trust me. If you falter most likely it’ll backfire and I’ll die.” She trusts Levi with her life which was odd to think of since they’ve only known one another for a week and something.

“To make it simple. We go there, change into ceremonial type clothes, get into the spring, I spill some of my blood to start the ritual which has to be under a full moon, use the incantation to speed up the curse, drink from you, if it works then as a thank you I must let you drink a little of my blood.” A breath was taken as the fox thought about the rest.

“You..can’t stay in your world for the full melinnium. People might get suspicious if you don’t age at all in the oncoming years.” She didn’t want anyone to try and capture him out of curiosity and do tests. Can’t dissect magic. “If you wish I can set up a private home for you.” The fox walked over and wrapped her arms loosly around his neck and nuzzles into his hair. “It’s the least I can do for the one helping set me free” she purrs.

Trust her? That but would be easy. Levi trusted her to the ends of this god-forsaken, titan infested world. Actually, considering that he’d soon be traveling to other worlds, he guessed he trusted her even more then that. Something he was strangely ok with considering they hadn’t known each other for very long. Although that whole part about it backfiring did worry him a little. He hoped her trust in him to do this properly was well placed. He wouldn’t want her to die because she trusted him to much with this. He didn’t want her to die, period.

She’d mentioned drinking blood, spilling blood and some incantation like for a spell… All of it sounded- off, yet the thing that nagged at him was the one part about ceremonial clothes. If it was anything like the dress-like thing the moon guy was wearing, Levi wouldn’t be happy about putting it on. Half of this was because he didn’t want to look like the moon guy (when he held grudges, he really held grudges), but he also didn’t know how comfortable that would be, it looked old-fashioned, old fashioned things tended to be less comfortable. He didn’t speak up about it, knowing that it would be weird to complain about such a petty thing as clothes, he could live with it.

Levi hummed in agreement. “Thanks.” He circled his arms around her in a loose hug, leaning into her a little. This extended life would be difficult, but he knew he could do it.

If anyone calls him that nasty word when visiting back home she’ll harm them for sure. It was rude for one thing and two Levi is a royals guest so to disrespect him was to do so to her, as kind as the fox is there are limits.

She hoped that he’d be alright with this and is not just saying the words she wished to hear. Then again..its Levi we’re talking about. The short guy who will say whatever the fuck he feels like and not give a shit how you feel. You liked that about him.

Not wishing to be a bother for clinging to the Corporal she reluctantly lets him go. Despite that she wished to spend more time with him. “Want to go for a short walk? You’re always asking about me, but I wanna hear a story from you.” The air was good, she felt much better, he punched a god..all was right with the world. Of course ignoring the fact that she’s dying from the inside out, it was a good night.

Levi nodded and they walked off across the grounds, not going in any particular direction. It was relaxing just to walk, not run for his life, or fly, or rush in any way. Just calmly walk. It was something he didn't do much, but it was certainly a nice experience.

He let himself focus on nothing but his surroundings for a few seconds. The feeling and the sound of the grass crunching under his boot. The soft light of the stars and the moon in the night sky. The crisp, fresh air that brushed lightly against his skin and smelled slightly of pine with a tinge of smoke.

As soon as all this information about what he'd observed in their surroundings entered his head, he let his go with a long breath. "A story about me? I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I'm not an inhuman being with powers of exceptional proportions who's lived for many, many years." He pointed out, smiling softly. He didn't think any of his stories would be of any interest to her, with all the things she's seen in her life, surely whatever he told her would be unexceptional.

Levi really hadn’t needed his compliments, or congratulations or whatever on how good a hit he’d dealt. He already knew he’d hit well from the way he reacted, the way he stumbled and how he’d manage to make him bleed. That was a new level, punching a god. He was proud of himself before he’d told him it was impressive. Now he just felt uneasy at the idea that the guy he punched was complementing his ability to hit hard. It felt like water creeping up his spine type of unease, just…creepy.

The corporal silently watched the exchange between them, brain working hard to grasp at what they were speaking about. How souls worked wasn’t exactly his specialty, he knew next to nothing on the subject. But he did store the information away for later, in case it because relevant later or he figured it out.

Levi Ackerman?! How did he know his last name? No one knew his last name. It was kind of one of his (many) secrets. He was the type of person that kept their cards close to their chest. But then, of course he knew, he was a god right? That was cheating. He snapped out of his internal sulking to tune into what he was saying once more. Even if it was just a test, he wasn’t automatically excused, Levi was still mad. He was the type of person that held grudges for a long time and would be stubborn about it.

He couldn’t say he was all that sad when the god turned into some orb of light, looking like a miniature star. Serinaty wasn’t the only one that he managed to make uncomfortable. He hadn’t even had to deal with the psychical touching like she did. If the god came back and tried to hug or touch /him/, he didn’t care who he was, he was getting thrown on the ground.

He didn’t take the god’s compliment, but when Serinaty praised his ability to push it was a different matter. The edge of his mouth twitched up slightly in amusement and pride. Then he frowned, realising what she just said only then. “Wait why do you feel that?”

It was nice to see a slight smile..or was that a smirk? Either way it helped ease the mood some. Sadly it only lasted seconds which was the norm she assumes. Hopefully she’ll get to see him actually full on smile one of these days, by some miracle.

“I could feel it because me and him are sort of connected. I didn’t feel the full force of it just the um..well the hit itself.” Serinaty smiled and pat the area on her stomach where the soul was.

It was already known by her that he was strong and now its more confirmed. He just broke a gods nose so yeah he gets more respect from her. “Is there anything you wanted to ask or do while out here?”

Levi just silently stared at her for a moment, letting the seconds go by. The silence was strangely comfortable in a way that would only really work around her. Any other person and it would probably be pretty awkward. There were some really strange things that came out of her mouth and each one still managed to surprise him. He let go of it for his own sanity and tried not to think about how one could simultaneously fail to feel the force of a punch but still it's hit. Freaking magic.

"Well I was wondering what would happen exactly, with this ritual." She had been a bit vague about it, but he supposed this was as good a time as any to question what it was. He already knew that it would change his life-span, but there seemed like there would be other things.

His world was already wacky with Serinaty in it and he quite liked it. He supposed that a longer life span would make it even stranger, he'd find out anyway. He was merely trying to get a grasp of how strange, mostly to brace himself.

The male was taken off guard for a moment by the shorter ones words. Usually most knew when to give respect to a god, then again he must think himself ballsy. He says nothing and kept holding onto the Princess but didn’t move. Serinaty couldn’t fight back much considering he is her lifeline and dammit she was raised to give respect to Tsukiyomi.

“I’ll do whatever I please to her, she is my chosen princess.” His hand slides under her chin tilting it up much to her disapproval. In her mind she was deducting the possible scenarios that could go down. “Tell me, is he the one you chose to help?” Silver eyes meet hers to which she obediently nods like a good girl.

“Have you told the human that his lifespan will be increased terribly long?” Again, she nods obediently as he held her. “If that’s what you wish.” The kitsune expected a fight or for him to act immature like usual.

Actually getting sick or rather annoyed by the humans glare it was beginning to slip under his skin. How odd one could do this after so long so he thought. A punishment was in order, “I can’t stay long. This was a quick visit for..reasons.” The last part was said while his glare looked over Levi.

“Why can no one play nice?” Serinaty mumbles looking the other way as the tension could be cut with a knife. “Since tomorrow is a special day for you both I shall give a gift.”

He leans down connecting his lips with the foxes. Frozen, she stood there in shock till the situation registers and a hard shove was given to the god. “What do you think you’re doing!?” She managed to glare as fresh tears gather. Oh how she wished to summon a weapon but..hurting him would only kill her. “I hate you.” Serinaty held herself not even sure she fully meant those words since he had a kind side to himself. All gods have a soft spot.

Levi didn't care that she probably could take care of herself, that any attack she dealt would be more effective. He was pissed off and he was sure as Hell going to let this guy know. This bastard thought he could do whatever he wanted? It didn't matter if he was a god he had no bloody right. This was far from okay, the hugging had tempted him to hit the god. Serinaty had clearly wanted to get out of the situation but he had refused to release her from the prison of his arms. He had managed to restrain himself then, miraculously. But kissing her?!

Levi strode over to him in two quick steps. He reached up, taking hold of that ridiculously long hair of his and tugged it down, hard. He was determined not to think of it as a way to bring the rather tall man's face downwards to his level, but as a way to position him to swing a stronger punch, the later explanation having nothing to do with height. He moved quick enough so hopefully the god couldn't react in time as he swung his fist at the others face, coming into contact directly with his nose. Not meaning to be trouble she shook her head and sat there to think back on the dream again. She bit her bottom lip before placing a hand over her heart “a part of me feels better.” Serinaty hurried and got out of bed running a hand through her long auburn hair.

With a smile she stretched happily cracking the bones that grew tight during her slumber. Despite the icky feeling of this curse rushing along her soul she was feeling pretty good, well mood wise that is.

“Let’s hurry outside, the moon is calling~.” Serinaty rushed to Levi’s side and took his hand in hers waiting for the approval while that long, fluffy tail of hers sways in a pattern. A sudden thought rises and made both her ears fall flat as she releases him and rubs the back of her head. “I’ve got a bad feeling.”  Now she was conflicted, having Levi come along would be nice and there was a high possibility they could learn more about one another. Then again ‘he’ could come ruin it by coming to talk to her about tomorrow.

The kitsune fiddled with a bit of her hair mumbling to herself here and there till a sigh passed those lips. “Never mind maybe I’m thinking too much.” All and all she hoped these feelings were wrong. If he came to visit she worried Levi would punch him..it’d actually be pretty funny to watch her friend a human punch a god. “Let’s go. You lead the way..or shall we fly again?”

Levi got out of the bed as he rubbed the small traces of sleep from his eyes, wondering how long he’d been unconscious for. He placed his book away where it was usually stored and glanced over at Serinaty, seeing her attitude spike into hyperactive as soon as she got out of bed, ignoring the fact that she’d only just woken up. He shook his head at her ability to jump straight into it after being asleep, although his mouth twitched up a little.

Still a little groggy from sleep, he didn’t know how to answer her worries but to pat her arm. He was coming into full awake-ness as he pulled on his shoes though, ready for whatever she could throw at him. Shrugging on his jacket he turned to her and gave a curt nod to tell her he was ready.

“No.” He replied quickly, as if he had to say it as fast as he could to get her to hear him. He cleared his throat. “I would- rather not fly unless we have to.” He admitted warily, trying to not offend. He loved flying, the feeling of the wind rushing past, not being confined to the ground, being so high up in the air. But he very much preferred to be in control when flying, like he was with the 3DMG. He trusted himself and the gear, he knew every turn that was going to be made before it happened because he was doing it. He knew he could rely on himself to keep in the air. The idea of having wings sounded amazing, but he would only fly with them if they were attached to his own back. The corporal trusted Serinaty with his life, but for some reason that didn’t change his fear for travelling via her wings.

Levi cleared his throat once more out of awkwardness and turned, heading out the door, leading the way outside.

Serinaty stared at him surprised at how fast he said no to the offer of flying again and somehow that was really funny. Not laughing out loud she just smiled his way amused at this human that was in front of her. “Understood. And when you figure out how to use your own we can have even more fun someday.” She held back a giggle wandering on twords the door then adds,  “if I actually decide to tell you how.”

He wasn’t ready for that stuff yet who knows how he’ll react or his body to the extra stuff. Levi was a strange human indeed able to tap into more potential as very rare humans were if someone taught them how, otherwise it just goes to waste.

Continuing on the walk she slides her fingers along the wall as the first time he brought her to this place. Tonight was the last one in this place because come tomorrow after the ritual she’d have to stay home. A pull of energy called her to the doors leading to outside in a hurry. Unable to stop herself the kitsune rushed happily ahead pushing them open only to be met–or rather rammed into with a body one moment later. “Oof~” the tall figure held onto the kitsune soon tightening his grip. “H-hurts…I get it..it’s been some years but this hurt.”

The tall male had pale skin, light silver eyes to match his oddly long pale silver hair. Outfit wise he worse a kimono with soft star designs in various places as a pattern choice. He hugged a bit tighter while nuzzling her earning a pained mewl as ears fold back which was his signal to lighten the hold allowing the fox to breath. “Please let me go now.”

Serinaty felt a little lightheaded at her gods behavior though tolerates it because he is the reason she’s alive, as well as it’s rude to disrespect one. He can’t come down all the time so she should be grateful. “L-levi..this is Tsukiyomi, he’s the god of the moon. And…I think he’s come to meet you.” She was really hoping nothing bad happened, worse scenario Levi hits a god but hey..life is full of surprises. “…?” he stared at the other then looked down at his chosen princess, and once more stared at the jet black haired male tugging the fox away to create distance. “Sorry, he’s a bit..strange.”

“Let me go” she mumbles lightly hitting his chest managing a soft glare as her face heats up, this was getting embarrassing and in front of Levi to. Damn clingy god, she didn’t approve of this affection as he doesn’t know his own strength so it’s painful most times.

Levi frowned at her in confusion. "My own?" He asked quietly. Was he getting wings out of this deal? In all honesty that would be amazing. He didn't get his hopes up, apart from that vague comment she hasn't mentioned anything about getting anything but an extended life span from this deal and he was okay with that. He wasn't obsessive either, it wasn't like he was wanting to be asking a bunch of questions about the whole wings thing. He also didn't float off into his own thoughts as they walked, wondering about what his wings would look like, how big they'd be, how strong, how fast. He definitely didn't try to create in his head the image of his ideal wings....He sighed in defeat. By the walls he was such a dork.

He was snapped out of his state of being deep in thought (that certainly wasn't centred around him day dreaming about weird stuff like wings. That's what Hanji did, not him. He wasn't obsessive. Nope.) when she sped up. He watched as she ran into someone who was clearly not from around here. When he said around here, he meant earth. His clothing was strange enough, only people in stories and folk tales wore stuff like that. Then there was the hair and eyes, pale silver, making him appear alien in a way. He didn't look right, he was out of place, he didn't belong here. He seemed to judge this new person by their appearance more harshly then he did when he'd met Serinaty for the first time. That probably had to do with the fact he looked like he was trying to squeeze the life out of her with that bone crushing hug.

Levi didn't care who he was. He was never one for faith anyway. He wasn't going to respect this guy just because he was some moon god. He crossed his arms over his chest, mostly to prevent himself from lashing out and hitting the stupid god person that was clearly making Serinaty highly uncomfortable. He fixed him with a disapproving glare. "You say you've come to meet me so why don't you just leave her alone?" He suggested calmly, tone holding a bit of venom in it. "If you somehow haven't clued in already, I should tell you she doesn't want you clinging onto her like a starving man clings to his last ration." He held eye contact with him, not showing any signs of even thinking about backing down.

Levi was so glad she trusted him when he told her she wasn’t a monster. She didn’t deserve to think that of herself, not her. Not the kitsune who would protect the people she cared about at all costs. Not the person who brightens his life just by being there. Not Serinaty, she was too good. Her heart was made of pure gold and she constantly lifted people’s spirits with her cheerful nature. She was no monster and shouldn’t think of herself in such a way.

He raised his eyebrows at her request. This must not be considered such a intimate act for her kind. Even if it was, he didn’t think she realised human’s tended to be hesitant to sleep in the same bed as someone. Or perhaps that was just Levi, after all he didn’t socialise much, how was he to know what was normal really. Despite his insistence to himself that this wasn’t normal for two friends, he felt his resolve slipping.

“Alright.” He agreed. “You better not be a kicker.” He added in more of a mumble. If she ended up poking, kicking or hitting him in his sleep he was going to be grumpy. More grumpy then he usually was that is. She shouldn’t put it past him to roll her out of the bed and let her fall to the floor if she did such a thing.

His pause made a seed of worry grow within the pit of her stomach. Did he not wish to rest with her? The kitsune understood if he liked his space it’s just her being spoiled with his presence right now. He was just so comfortable to be around when you got past that cold wall he puts up.

“I promise I wont kick you” she spoke through small giggles not sure why that’d be a thing or perhaps she just didn’t understand. Serinaty scoots over in the bed offering him her previously warmed spot. “I am however a cuddler.”

Once he got into bed she moved to get comfy. While lying on her back to stare at the ceiling she felt something swell in her chest, there was actually a bit of hope growing each passing second. Hope that tomorrow good things were going to happen..something magical perhaps?

After the feeling settled Serinaty turned on her side to stare at Levi. A tint of blush dusts her face in thought before she managed a soft smile and spoke. “Aai lunareiu yuuae, Levi (I love you, Levi).” Of course she’d say it in her native tongue so he couldn’t understand anything but his name. Now that love is up to whomever to decide how it’s classified till further notice but he is her friend, a special person who within this week has broke through the walls around her heart to find that hurt and frightened girl. Hopefully Levi understands how grateful she is to him for everything.

Not speaking the fox shifts closer and cuddles up to the Corporal. With a mind of its own her tail coiled around his leg, now he can’t leave her. “Wake me when the moon is here please Levi.” Sleepy, Serinaty drifts off quickly now that she was able to express something that’s been locked away for awhile now.

Levi removed his jacket, laying it neatly over the back of a nearby chair, then was his boots which were placed against the wall, the shoes perfectly aligned with each other. It was all these little things that people often over looked, that told the story of how he was a clean freak with a touch of OCD. It was really a wonder how people missed all these small actions, only realising his obsession with cleanliness when he made them scrub a place from top to bottom. But then the scouting legion wasn’t a place to harbour the brainiacs, it was for the insane.

He lay down beside her, pulling the blanket over him. It was so very comfortable. He didn’t sleep much as he was an insomniac, when he did collapse into bed he was usually so tired he fell unconscious in a manner of seconds. He never really let himself relax and just lay in bed, stay in the embrace of the fluffy pillows and soft mattress so he never realised how good it felt.

“Serinaty you know I don’t speak kitsune.” He sighed softly, his body relaxing completely and his eyes falling closed. He wouldn’t fall asleep, he couldn’t without being dead tired, but he could let himself be at peace. He wrapped his arm loosely around her, responding to her cuddling up to him which as he noticed, strangely, he didn’t seem to mind. “Alright.” He agreed quietly to her request, lowering his voice, mindful of that fact she was trying to get to sleep.

Within the dreams that wrapped her up like a blanket she was on a swing made of stars of various sizes. Only inches above a vast body of water she stares at the moons reflection wondering if this is where she will go after properly dying. Ending it all.

The thought of being alone in a place made her really sad. Thoughts of all her friends flood the kitsunes mind while she begins to swing. At some point the star swing carries her in rhythm on its own.

In the end she leaps off floating down atop the waters surface as if it was solid. Waving bye to the spot she was ready to move on with her life. It’s was finally time to move on, no matter how frightening and hard it was.

Serinaty walked off to the end of the dream with a sad smile when something woke her. Violet eyes open taking a moment to register the dream. The after effect of emotions from it rush to her body as she sits up staring blankly at nothing while half asleep. Not knowing why some silent tears cascade one after another down her face. Serinaty felt a little better though her crying sucked it was probably just an effect of being half asleep.

When it registered she was leaking from her eyes the kitsune quickly wipes them away. “Human emotions are annoying.”

It was only once Serinaty had drifted off into a deep sleep that Levi dared to move a muscle. He hadn't wanted to jolt her into waking from a state that was only half asleep. He'd been patient, staying completely still. It wasn't bad, laying like that, it was very comfortable after all. But if he was going to be here for hours he was going to get bored just laying there and waiting until the time he could wake her up.

He carefully leaned over to his nightstand, trying not to move her too much, a grabbed a book from it. It would entertain him enough until it was time. He settled back into his original position with his arm around her, this time holding a book with one hand over his head as he lay flat on his back, reading the novel.

The warmth and comfort of his surroundings got to him though, he hadn't expected himself to be able to, but he ended up falling asleep. He only noticed he'd even been close to unconsciousness when he woke up. He'd felt her move and had been pulled out of his light sleep straight away. He opened his eyes and scowled at the book that had fallen, open onto his face, blocking his view of his surroundings.

Levi heard her voice and removed the book from his face before sitting up with her, studying her features with concern. "What's wrong?" He asked immediately.

Levi rolled his eyes at her ‘mom’ comment, no knowing how else to react to her sass. It was just immature and unreasonable. …… Shit, he was thinking like some parent now too. He forced those thoughts from his head, refusing to further acknowledge them, it was better he ignored it all. He did have work to do after all, it would be better if he just focused on that.

His eyebrows were drawn together in both curiosity and concern. For a moment he didn’t see the clawed hand lacing its fingers through hers, but when he did spot it he didn’t know if that made him feel any better. Maybe her having some imaginary friend would have been less concerning, it would be strange but then, strange was to be expected from her. This hand had this eeriness about it, but Serinaty appeared fine with its presence so he didn’t say anything about it.

“Sleep well.” He said simply, nodding to her, and turned to gather the papers he’d dumped when he’d entered the room. Then went to his workspace desk and settled down on the comfortable chair to do the work that was required of him, all the while cursing the task for how dull and boring it was.

For the time she slept the dreams were of nothing but her drowning. No scream came only sinking into the darkness as claws dragged her body down. When taken down far enough a rough pain of one rushing through her chest had Serinaty gasping for air in the dream.

After a couple hours she woke up screaming in agony. It was accelerating, the symbols along her body spread adding more dark tattoo like ink to her skin. The feeling of these things spreading had her curled up whimpering and screaming. “Stop! Please make it stop!”

Her eyes stayed shut tightly till the pain slowly subsides. Tired again Serinaty heaves a sighs lifting up the shirt to see more symbols now added all the way up to just below her chest. “Great…fucking great.” Covering her face she felt fresh tears coming. “Ugly.” The meaning of all these symbols were cruel, like a story of what she is to become. In the end she just felt so ugly.

Levi was almost falling asleep from pure boredom as he did the work he’d been given. His head was resting on his hand, arm propped up on his desk, his other hand held a pen in a loose grip. He re-read the same paragraph for what felt like the twentieth time, the words never going into his brain, just slipping in one ear and out the other. The work was so dull that he just couldn’t concentrate for the life of him. Sleeping felt like a better option right now and he wasn’t even tired.

His head snapped up as he heard Serinaty yell out. Usually at this time in the day he’d have assumed something was very wrong, as in she was in danger. That somehow, someone or something had broken in and was attacking. But he knew that she’s been sleeping, he knew that it was only a nightmare. Not that it changed much either way. He still bolted from his chair and rushed over to where she was.

“Serinaty.” He breathed out as he sat carefully down on the bed. He placed his hand cautiously on her shoulder. Right now she was hiding her face but he could see in the way her shoulders shook ever so slightly that she was crying, even if it was silent. “You know everything’s going to be alright huh? We’re going to get this curse fixed remember? You don’t have anything to worry about.” He tried to reassure her, grasping at straws for what to say.

Her body flinched at his touch although the tears continue to come. It was painful and this thing would attack her at every angle up until the end whatever it may be. “Ugly..its ugly. My body, filthy black beast.”

When the kitsune did lower her hands she sat up and hugged Levi. While feeling a bit of the after affect of the pain Serinaty knew her body was trembling. “Levi..” she mumbled his name slightly broken.

Gripping at him harder the kitsune didn’t want to feel the pain anymore. It’ll be tomorrow but she needs the moonlight tonight. “Don’t leave. Stay in here with me.” Being alone gave it more opportunities to mess with her mentally. “Please stay.” She needed to know that tomorrow everything would be okay, even if it was a pretty lie and she turns into a monster or dies. Levi is the friend she’s counting on to be her anchor while in this troubling state.

Levi returned her embrace. He was quickly getting used to this hugging thing. He didn't usually let people near him, but she was somewhat of a special case. It was surprising, maybe even to himself but he did enjoy the comforting hugs, they were calming, nice. It just happened to be that whenever they hugged, one of them seemed to be having some troubles.

"I'm staying, I'm not going anywhere." He whispered quietly now that her ear was so close to his mouth. He rubbed circles into her back in a series of random patterns to sooth her. He wouldn't let himself leave or worse, die. He was going to do that to Serinaty. He knew what it was like to loose people and he'd like to avoid putting others through that.

He pulled away from her so he could look her in the eyes. His silvery eyes were narrowed and his jaw set in determination. "Everything's going to be fine, you hear me?" He held the side of her face so she had to look at him. He wanted her to see that he was dead serious.

After a couple hours she woke up screaming in agony. It was accelerating, the symbols along her body spread adding more dark tattoo like ink to her skin. The feeling of these things spreading had her curled up whimpering and screaming. “Stop! Please make it stop!”

Her eyes stayed shut tightly till the pain slowly subsides. Tired again Serinaty heaves a sighs lifting up the shirt to see more symbols now added all the way up to just below her chest. “Great…fucking great.” Covering her face she felt fresh tears coming. “Ugly.” The meaning of all these symbols were cruel, like a story of what she is to become. In the end she just felt so ugly.

Levi was almost falling asleep from pure boredom as he did the work he'd been given. His head was resting on his hand, arm propped up on his desk, his other hand held a pen in a loose grip. He re-read the same paragraph for what felt like the twentieth time, the words never going into his brain, just slipping in one ear and out the other. The work was so dull that he just couldn't concentrate for the life of him. Sleeping felt like a better option right now and he wasn't even tired.

His head snapped up as he heard Serinaty yell out. Usually at this time in the day he'd have assumed something was very wrong, as in she was in danger. That somehow, someone or something had broken in and was attacking. But he knew that she's been sleeping, he knew that it was only a nightmare. Not that it changed much either way. He still bolted from his chair and rushed over to where she was.

"Serinaty." He breathed out as he sat carefully down on the bed. He placed his hand cautiously on her shoulder. Right now she was hiding her face but he could see in the way her shoulders shook ever so slightly that she was crying, even if it was silent. "You know everything's going to be alright huh? We're going to get this curse fixed remember? You don't have anything to worry about." He tried to reassure her, grasping at straws for what to say.
