Dr. Gerald has gone to the med bay so many times now that it has gotten to a point where the medical personnel now has a bed in the emergency room that is dedicated specifically for him.

In addition:

There's a built-in movable table attached to the hospital bed to act as a desk since it's basically his second office at this point given how his hospital stay-ins overlap with his work. He doesn't work alot while he's hospitalized though, since the medical personnel always insists on him getting proper rest rather than doing work.

Okay, I can’t speak for why other people ship them, but I can talk about myself

It was way back in 2020 when I first got into SCP Foundation. I read about them and thought, “Oh, characters with funny anomalous traits—what if you put them all in one house? Sounds fun, they’d probably wreck the place”

I think these characters can understand each other because of their anomalous situations—people laugh at one for his driving skills, and at the other because of the apple seeds. Honestly, they feel comforting to me. But at the same time, you can develop them in many different directions

If we’re talking about their interaction on the site, at least as far as I know, there’s only one example-in the story Agent, Father, Motherfucker: Alto Clef, in memoriam

Also, I don’t know if I’m the one who made them more popular, but some people definitely found out about them through me haha. And by the way, my first account was basically a storage/archive for them: @vnikra
