hj's successes include mewing at a college party, making a c tier flier on canva, declaring a screaming man dead to then jump on top of a roof, and buying two scooters on next day-delivery.

lavonte has closed a business deal, found town locals that can explain town history, dug up city council records (with darkness man's help), hired an assistant, and is actively planning to interviene in the purpee political landscape.

lavonte might be running on power and blood cocaine but he is RUNNING

POV you’re at the college party and two middle aged men show up. One appears to have had a botched face lift and is pretending to be 20. The other rides a scooter around in the street looking sad and refusing to talk to anyone, then drives the scooter off the roof into a dry pool and is horrifically injured. Absolutely mangled and screaming. The first one picks him up, shouts “he’s dead”, jumps straight up onto the roof, then runs away leaping from roof to roof. A mysterious French girl claims it’s all a con then drags another girl off to have sex.
