If you cry “black lives matter” every time a cis black man is shot by cops but you shrug or make excuses when a cis and/or trans black woman gets shot by either cops, their spouse or some random asshole, you don’t think black lives matter.

Take heed from Venus and Serena’s father…don’t let anyone sow seeds of doubt in your kids. Dude was trying to snatch Venus’ confidence, and her dad was like, “Nah, bruh. Not today.”
The Equal Justice Initiative is building a memorial for lynching victims — and it’s about time.
The Equal Justice Initiative announced on Tuesday that it will build the first-ever national memorial to lynching victims in Montgomery, Alabama. Titled “Memorial to Peace and Justice,” the EJI project will sit on six acres of land that used to be a public housing project in Montgomery.
The structure will include the thousands of lynching victims’ names on concrete columns, which will represent hundreds of U.S. counties where the acts took place. The memorial will also coincide with the opening of a museum.

sometimes u just gotta say “okey dokey” and just like.. rely on urself.. take things as impersonally as u can.. love and let go.. move on.. try and find all the good things, soak those in. and that’s all u can do! and sometimes, that’s enough
