The way Jinbe was nervous that his size would intimidate his new crew members since for some humans it can be a lot.

And then Luffy Chopper and Usopp immediately start riding on his back (sanji tells them to stop and jinbe assures him its fine)

Nami starts giving him hugs all the time even though she doesn't do that with many others. She admits his hugs are just the best.

Franky is thrilled to have a big guy who can help him around the ship. And hes there to remind Jinbe he isnt the only large person there.

Its not like they look past a flaw. They adore this about Jinbe.
