I love on Fishman Island, the moment after Otohime dies and Shirahoshi is about to lose it.... but her brothers rush to her. The two goofy ones, Ryoboshi and Manboshi immediately dry their own tears and run to her to make her laugh.

And yeah its to make her stop crying because if she does the sea kings will come. But like... it works. And they dont get like a more heroic moment than this, this is it.

But it kinda plays into the whole theme of one piece isnt it? Dont bring destruction. Bring joy.

Here's my ultimate one piece theory.

Laughtale is where the clowns come from. A whole group of people like buggy.

We dont know where buggy is from, havent seen anyone with a big red nose like him which is unlike other physical quirks (foxy and brulee share a nose, the long neck tribe etc)

Rodgers crew would find this absolutely fucking hilarious. They'd all start dying laughing.

They'd also ABSOLUTELY refuse to tell anyone in the hopes buggy and Shanks will find it themselves.

I don’t get how ppl can STILL infantilize luffy and act like he’s naive/doesn’t know what’s going on around him. the whole point is he understands situations very clearly and chooses not to accept them. he’s one of the most emotionally intelligent (and kind) characters in the entire series and while his default disposition is fun/freedom/whimsy he’s also legitimately terrifying bc nothing will stop him when he sets his mind

mind u this is a character who has tolerated innumerable physical wounds. who has sacrificed years off his own life. whose heart stopped beating. and do you know what almost killed him? his grief — almost punching his way back to his brother if jinbe hadn’t stopped him

he didn’t want to hear nami’s backstory, but when he saw the blood covered pen and the shackles he destroyed the map room first bc he knew this was the place that caused her the most pain. he knew robin was scared to be the reason the strawhats became a target to the world government so luffy had usopp shoot down the world government flag. in a three minute fight with crocodile with a HOOK thru his middle he figured out that the warlords weakness was water, an when he ran out of water he used blood.

in amazon lily boa said ‘you can either leave this place and return to your friends OR you can save the life of this stranger” and what do you think he chose?

he’s seen the worst the world has to offer and actively chooses day in and day out to smile. to make his friends laugh. to be a good person. to choose kindness

Thanks for your answer 😘. How many of the older Charlottes are actually married with having children? I doubt Katakuri and Brulee are because of their duty and maybe Looks.🤔

I was on vacation so I didnt answer this right away but yes I have THOUGHTS.

I dont think big mom lets her older children marry. She wants to keep them close, theyre valuable to her. I think its notable that the strongest big mom fighters are the oldest and it isnt just because of age and experience. You can tell they are highly trained fighters and a lot of their younger siblings arent.

Because the younger ones are the pawns she will send off to marry. She doesnt really need them anymore, so she would rather have the alliances their marriage would build.

Perospero she wouldnt want married off at all, same with Katakuri. Perospero is her legitimate heir and katakuri is her chosen successor. She wants them close and not influenced by the outside.

Smoothie cracker oven and daifuku probably wouldnt be married off either. Again keep the soldiers close.

Brulee... I think big mom puts up with brulee because of her power. So she also wouldnt be married off but I can see her like wanting it more.

Love to hear your thoughts on the relationship Katakuri and Brulee (or other siblings)❤️. Maybe some headcanons

Oh you are speaking my LANGUAGE I love these two. Brulee is one of my favs because of their relationship.

Okay so katakuris "favorite" sibling is brulee. He loves all his siblings but she has the mix of being his sweet little sister, getting hurt because of him and loving him despite his mouth.

I have a theory that the reason why brulee is as weak as she is is because Brulee always has Katakuri there to protect her. Since they were kids he would want her close, and I can imagine him keeping her close.

So why should she become strong? Unfortunately this is a huge loss for the big mom pirates because her mirror power is insanely underrated. She can create a world and trap people in it, travel through mirrors to get anywhere. And she can barely use it.
