Good men still benefit from patriarchy. Good men still profit off of misogyny. Good, kind, peaceful men still build their success off of the backs of women's daily unpaid labor. Kind men still hold ingrained biases that actively harm and disenfranchise women. Non-violent men still benefit from women being scared of violent men.
This is the reality of sexism: it does not matter if a man, individually, is a good or bad man. All men benefit from women being oppressed.
A few sexist men refusing to hire women still means more jobs for men--even if none of those hired men are sexist themselves.
A few violent men scaring women off the streets or out of certain scenes means those places still become male dominated--even if most of the men in those places aren't violent.
A few sexist men denying women financial freedom still means that all men end up holding more societal and financial power.
It does not matter if an individual man is, himself, personally sexist. He still benefits FROM sexism.
