got stuck on gravity orbit 90 and it got me thinking like.... imagine you are starting now, and you want main caleb, should you just give up?

i mean honestly, x-02 rerun somewhere beyond and netherlord rerun next year, and even if we have 4th round of myths, that is also next year. aside of multis, birthday (june) and solo in december, there is nothing coming out for caleb.

which for me is great but for people starting out... orbits? shc?

well, first of all i'd never encourage to anyone to play this game without actually giving them a deep dive of what this is. people who have no idea what is gotcha need proper explanation and even people who do, my guys, there needs to be a warning about the lack of resources, how much it costs to level up, about aurum pass, premium li's (sylus & caleb) reruns, storage space!!! and the simple fact that you are starting late and you will be punished for that.

don't encourage people just jumping into this blindly.

you gotta give them the caveat: yeah, it's a fun game, and the boys look nice but

alright LADS move aside, we have a new otome, which isn't gotcha but 3rd person exploration dating game and yeah, the boys look like temu Sylus, Caleb and Xavier, and the jawlines are stupid but hey, at least they are made by humans in unreal engine 5 and not AI. there is english loc as well. and for what it's worth, I think the story looks pretty interesting.

Sharing this because this is the first time I've seen anything that looks to be in the same ballpark as LaDS, and InFold REALLY needs competition. The LIs for it may not look great right now, but the LaDS boys looked RAGGEDY AF when they were in beta, so I'm giving these guys the benefit of the doubt. I left feedback in the survey that I noticed the similarities and would love to see more of why these characters are unique, both in aesthetic and concept.

Even if you don't think you would play it, it would be worth it to sign up and spread enough buzz about it that InFold takes notice because I want those mfers scared. And if the rumors are true that the writing team for this game consulted with the creators of BLADE RUNNER for the world-building, then I'd be looking into this regardless of what InFold was doing. Between that and the technical quality of the preview, if they can deliver on the execution/final product, the game could very well be good entirely on its own, which is very exciting.

AND this company has another game with an exceptional character creator, so if they bring that to this game for the MC, InFold better watch tf out because if I get natural hair, better darker skin tones (not just brown paint over a white model), and a single halfway decent looking LI, then I am GONE.

btw, i think peple don't realize that beta testing is absolutely vital for any game. yes, let's remember beta lads:

devs needs feedback. good and bad. i absolutely wrote into the survey that i feel the head proportions on the li's feel off, and if they get more feedback like this - things will change, i guarantee you.

idk, what people are afraid of, it's not like anyone is holding anyone on gunpoint to play it. but while brand loyalty is cute, it's not gonna take you anywhere, exploring new things might be fun.
