i'm asking this bc i personally fucking looooove the first kung fu panda movie so hard, genuinely one of the best animated movies ever made, but i tend to hear people saying the sequel is better, or at least their favorite? and like. i LIKE IT and it definitely has some absolutely iconic MOMENTS, but i think the overall pacing/directing and script is MUUUUUUCH WEAKER than the first. idk i'm so curious to see if i'm in the minority abt this

Super weird shuake comic without Joker (except in voice).

Since I drew plenty of happy(?) shuake comics, I guess Goro gets to be miserable again.

I wanted to draw Akechi losing grip on reality after coming back from doing his job in Mementos because I think it’s pretty reasonable to experience reality blur after years of doing that line of work. He basically uses Joker as an anchor to reality and asks random questions to ground himself. They seem like they do knowledge battles/debates pretty often during their meetups hence such questions.

I was thinking a lot about one of my favorite song from Cowboy Bebop Knocking on Heaven’s Door. The comic’s inspired by the song.
